I literally set Victor's name to "Asshole" because he started pissing me off early (but in good story-related villain sort of way). I find this enormously amusing because all the girls also refer to him as "Asshole" too, including Vivian.

It's not just the father though. You can put in relationships but it's pointless in the end. The story and interactions are clearly written as a group of acquainted thieves that just happen to live together. Unless it's common place for a son/brother to grope, kiss and flirt with his female family members and have them super into it from the start. The only thing it changes is how they address the player in a few scenes. It's just there so the player can pretend they are related.
The story and interactions are clearly written as incest game dodging rules which prevent publishing such games on certain web sites. Kissing and flirting with female family members is common for a son/brother in incest games, yes.
You'd have harder time explaining why a group of casual acquaintances whose only common point is committing crimes together, cares so much about young male member of the group who is not related to them and apparent weak link. Or why these members react to sexual thoughts and actions involving that guy as something deeply morally wrong.

I don't get that feeling at all. Ariel sure doesn't think it's "wrong", saying out loud that it doesn't feel all bad about getting touched by the mc in multiple situations. Loves that her first "forced" kiss is from the MC. As for Bell to me it feels more like she has always not cared for the MC and now doesn't get why she is finding him more likable now. Not to mention her little show for the MC where she is clearly trying to get him hard. And Vivian just comes across as a pent-up married woman that has another dick nearby. Their inner monologues aren't about how they shouldn't be attracted to there sibling/son, just that they are.
Let's see.
What's the alternative line? "Yes! Make your [team member and/or casual acquaintance] cum!"? Totally normal thing for a woman to scream in the throes of passion.
And to feel soooo dirty and guilty about. I, too, find it extremely revolting to get off on fantasies of random, sexy work acquaintances.

There's no need to be coy about it. That's the facade the game maintains, but that's all it is. At the end of the day it's a porn game with incest as one of its main themes.

So your example is from a non cannon fantasy scene that means nothing and can be anything it wants? Exactly it's a façade, they are supposed to be a group of people but the player can make them related and I don't feel they act as such. You'll get the occasional "By, bro." then it's right back to business as usual. Honestly if they are so worried about being able to put it on steam and patreon then maybe they should have just made it like Melody. Pick a lane and stick with it I say.
The scene being "non-canon" changes nothing about the wording being idiotic in the "casual group of acquaintances" scenario.
People who are related do act with each other like it's "business as usual" with the occasional "bro", "sis" or whatever. Not sure what your idea of families acting around one another is that the idea throws you off, or what sort of dramatic changes you've expected, compared to what we get.
If it's the fact they act quite okay with the idea of having sex, once again -- it's porn game with incest as theme. Wanting to engage in sex with family members if very much the point of the whole thing. Some games take their time when getting to the execution, some do it faster and without that much of moral dilemma because not everyone is into slow burn 100% of the time. This is apparently more of that latter, faster case.

That's where I see it differently. I never said that they have to be family, family, family, but it is never brought up that these people are in fact related to each other. Like you said they hide it, so well that it feels nonexistent in the game. It is very much the latter. Everyone's paths are moving at light speed so far. The pacing is way off, it doesn't need to be at "meet and fuck" speeds to not be a slow burn. They are moving so fast that it feels ham-fisted for the sake of porn. Nothing new I know, but personally I find it incredibly unrewarding. We are getting the milk for free, there is no need to try here.
What do you mean it's never brought up? It's mentioned every time they use "family" or "brother" or "sister" or "mom" or "dad" in various interactions, which as you noted yourself, the game does use. E.g. MC can literally say "she is my sister" about Bella when inquiring at the tattoo parlor.
And yes, if you defined them as acquaintances then he'll say "she is my acquaintance" instead, but it doesn't change the fact that if you define them as family then it does get brought up every now and then and they are referred to as family. It's just like i said, people being family members doesn't change basic interactions between them in some dramatic ways, compared to interacting with friends or whatever.

The words the player sees change and that's it. "They" never talk about it in game or otherwise. Back to their inner monologues and physical interactions, I don't recall them ever saying it was in any way taboo to have these feelings. It's always he and him, as ambiguous as it gets. The scenes are identical aside from one word. The word insinuates they are related so they are, right? Their actions and thoughts don't portray that.

Could you give an example what you would consider as "them talking about it in game" that the current scenes with "them" explicitly calling each other family members and such does not cover? Because it seems like you have some scenes in your head and because the game doesn't have them you dismiss everything else as "the words change and that's it"
I have posted a screenshot just couple posts earlier of Bella saying literally that. At this point i don't think it's the case of game being at fault here, but of massive cognitive dissonance on your part. Let me guess, "it doesn't count because it says it's non canon scene"?

If you think her saying sister is concrete evidence that they are related and uses that phrase for her relationship that only proves the point. I could just as easily say they are my mutant roommates. The game will tell me that's what they are but has anything actually changed? No, because the scenes are written in a very specific way that doesn't actually take in to account the players choice of relationships. So instead of "Yes! Make your sister cum!" it would be "Yes! Make your mutant roommate cum!". Do you see how nothing has actually changed?

Shows correctly for me. Obviously no idea what the difference is in our playthroughs that triggered it though.
