I have to agree with this, no doubt dev makes pretty decent updates but he has to speed up the deliveries if he wants people to support him. Also, not everyone is going to pay for wallpapers lmao

Yeah, even tho I dont think that Development is slow. Granted, there have not been many Updates yet, but the Updates which happened were just massive. And currently the Dev has around 360 paying Members, so at least around 1k via Patreon. So people indeed seem to be fine with the long wait between Updates.

I just think that having Updates not as massive and maybe having them every 3-4 months instead of having to wait tripple the time would do wonders.

Wallpapers take less time than the actual development of the game.

But I have to agree with the time between Updates - Updates are big and of high quality, but IMO the Dev would have more success if they went for smaller Updates but more frequently. They complained at some point that they dont get enough attention compared to Devs who deliver less quality, but if you create a product which is of high quality and well-received, you might think about changing your update cycle.
I mean, who wants to be a paying Patron for around a year without any significant content?

I dont think he takes too long if you look at the content output. If you look at the number of Updates, yes, it is very slow. but if you look at the content in those Updates, the development time is fine. But the Dev could easily split the Updates in 3 and deliver them every 3-4 months and would still have big Updates with good content.

There's no dev cycle that resembles any kind of pattern. More of a "it's done when it's done" kind of situation.

Changes dialogue to add incest.

Almost all mods of all kinds for Ren'Py games go in the game folder, not the exe folder, since .rpy and .rpyc files in the exe folder aren't loaded.

Normally I don't like reposting supporter-exclusive status updates for non-supporters, but since a lot of people here are unable to understand a joke, here's what the update actually says:

I've opted to deliver this status update in sprechgesang because none of you bums can lay down a slick enough beat.

I've taken a huge bite out of what is essentially the final chapter of this update. With that said, there are still some big bites left. I've mentioned before (though I don't blame you for forgetting) that this update is heavily backloaded when it comes to lewd scenes. Though you should be used to that with my previous updates really taking their time getting to naughty stuff.

There are 4 lewd scenes, the first occurs slightly after the halfway point, and the rest are in very close proximity towards the tail end of the chapter. What I'm trying to say, is that I'm at this point. This whole month is going to involve some intense animating, which will no doubt be the brunt of this month's workload. The silver lining is that we are close to the end; it's the unfortunate difference of 30 renders being doable in 1 day and 30 animations being impossible.

Again, no solid predictions, to give a metaphor, I'm a few steps away from the finish line, but someone built a massive fucking wall in front of it that I have to climb.

Gary's updates are very sparse, but they are massive when released.

Just adding my two cents to this, as sad as the long wait makes me, the only thing that matters in the end, is the quality of the content.
"Content is King". As long as the writing and the renders at least maintain their quality, success is sure to follow.
We are still hopeful for The Redburns, even though the original creator seemingly disappeared.
Caribdis also has pretty sparse updates, but delivers the quality.
So dev, if you're reading this, don't compromise, and go at your own pace.
If you can be faster though, it'd make a lot of people happy.
