Right, I remember it affects her presence at Patrick's. But I was trying to remember why MC told Josy in the first place. If I remember right, it's because he wasn't certain whether to tell Sage or not. On the one hand, Sage deserved to know but on the other hand it was going to hurt her. If I remember right, that's why he considered telling Josy to get her advice.
The why is because Josy can probably understand why would Chad do something like that, seeing that she in a same sex relationship and hiding it.(and potentially cheated as well) :cautious:
But considering that there has been a reconciliation with patrick I would say that it is no longer needed, except if it is important to find out who this lawyer is.
Priscila?

Cathy. Also, if we're calling relationships "an on going thing" at minimum, Tara might become another fuckbuddy.
I was thinking Cathy. But that seemed more like fun than an actual path. But you're right, DPC can develop it into an actual relationship path pretty easy. She doesn't conflict with anyone besides Jade at the moment.

I wasn't sure if Tara was a bit of fan service because of the end of Halloween. But she seems to like MC & with her being the first to bridge the gap between the betrayers & the DIKs, things could elevate beyond the Panty Party scene.

I mean if you're going to count Jade, why not Cathy? They've both had their share of more intimate discussions with MC beyond just sex.

If all I wanted was a bunch of sex scenes, I'd just go to pornhub. Personally the AVN genre is of interest because mainstream media is censored, mainstream media has only recently leaned into sex amongst the drama with tshows like GoT, Shameless, etc. I get that some content shouldn't be exposed to younger people before a certain age, but that doesn't mean people should be ashamed of having a healthy interest in adult topics. So it's nice being able to read these stories, and not censor out the questionable content.
Yes, this AVN certainly is the epitome of “came for the porn, stayed for the story”. I just deeply hope that this ends nearly as strong as it started! ;)

I wouldn't even say she conflicts with Jade, looking at how they talk about MC in ep 11 if you did both of them.

He was shocked by what he saw and detached from reality during training, which Josy noticed and began to ask what was going on, then we have a choice to tell her or not. Josy didn't give a clear answer whether to tell Sage, she said that she wouldn't want to be in his situation at all.
Ah, right. Thanks for jogging my memory. I remembered Josy didn't advise him one way or the other, but not the circumstances the discussion came up.

Hey Guys, for some reason many variables in the game for me keep getting defaulted to other values even if I save the game after modifying them, For example -
1742391051398.png
This heather lewd variable is still showing 2 even when I changed it to 0 before starting my current save file. Now again when I reopened the variable after saving the game at the end of ep11 - It is still showing it as 2. How does this happend and is there any fix if needed?

Solo Lily run is hard because there is little Lily content early but its worth it
Yes for the entire first season and most of the second you just have to repreatedly tell every girl "no" repeatedly. First season becomes more of a chore with the only thing "remember to get the tequila".

I am glad the game creator is listening with Lily and her path is evolving for her to get a solo relationship option because I really like her story. Glad she was not locked out as a single hook up coming into the story so late in episode 5.

Having just discovered this thread last night. Is this the fastest moving thread on the site? Wow.

Maya and Josy along with the plotlines they bring fizzled out for me and they are hot, but the Quinn's and Lily and frankly most of the HOTs have so much more to them character wise. Even Sarah after the Christmas tree hook-up seemed to be smitten with that kiss afterwards, but I agree with most you make a save file and focus on a single girl and channel a lot of the game out or it will get away from you pretty quick.

Are you disappointed in the episode because you are facing the consequences of MC's stupid decisions? No guys, this is not a game where you can do whatever you want and not get anything bad.

I've said this before. My biggest complaint with DPC in terms of branch creation is that it doesn't allow you to play the way the player wants and doesn't give you the right to make mistakes.
Let's say the game is already out. I've never played it and decided to try to play it from start to finish.
I didn't know that Jade was Sage's mother, and besides, she said she wasn't interested in a relationship, so it was logical to assume that sex with Jade was just a one-time fling.
Then it turns out having sex with Jade is a terrible sin. But the player is not a prophet and can't get inside the head of DPC. But the game is designed in such a way that if you didn't know about it and didn't assume it, you're still guilty.
It's stupid. It's doubly stupid that the player can't tell Sage the whole truth and move on, but for some strange reason, for the sake of drama, DPC puts everything off until the Season 3 finale. Why it's the finale is understandable. The game will count ts and based on them give a verdict to the player.
If a player has a lot of ts, there is always Camilla (she kindly said that if he breaks up with Sage she will be there for him), Melanie, Zoey (even rejected!), maybe Josy.
Now the game is turning into basically counting ts instead of enjoying the game.
Anything all fans do is reading code instead of enjoying.
Have you felt a few asses? That's it - now you can't tell Josy you love her.
What the hell is this?
It's pretty funny to see that DPС himself realizes this and posted this funny meme. It basically forces players to replay the entire game instead of enjoying a blind run.

Cathy is the only person (apart from an episode specific path) that has an applied PATH variable and is not a MG.

I chose Jade & omitted Cathy because I thought Jade was more important to the story. You have more interactions with Jade than Cathy. And with Cathy being disconnected from B&R, I figured there would be more hoops to keep their interactions believable.

You do have access to ~99 pages of saves. Lots of room if you break down about 1-2 pages per LI and save at various stages as the story progresses. Then if you decisions actually have *gasp* ramifications, then you can load a previous save.

I think most that like open world choice-based decisions like to see that decisions actually impact the game. Otherwise just read a kinetic novel where there are no decisions and no ramifications.

I don't even waste my time trying to understand this. I advise everyone to make save games dedicated to a single girl and that's it. Otherwise, you need to turn off your brain to play this game.

I mean... How do you explain all the girls being friends with each other after the MC abandoned 4 of them for one of them? Zero sense.
That it doesn't make sense is the actual point. Note it doesn't need to be as drastic as the MC dating all of them before picking one. He could be dating just 2 or 3, and then settle on one. Something which is pretty normal practice nowadays and what the game explicitly supports with the "now choose" mechanic and associated storyline. But the point is that it doesn't make any real sense for the game afterwards to have the rejected girls treated as nothing but friends who can be completely trusted around their former boyfriend. Yet this is what happens, because this is a story DPC wants to tell, and if this story is retarded then just too bad, you'll have to close your eyes and pretend you don't see that.

The groundwork for the MG group technically starts in ep 6 when Josy invites Jill to study with her, Maya and the MC. (...) But I wouldn't say the group just became a thing this episode since it's been a slow build up of the group.
Yes, you can say that. The thing is, nothing about the development of this group could be really considered "bonding through tough times" that'd warrant supposed exclusivity. It's just a few girls slowly expanding their social circle through casual gatherings and interactions. There's no reason to claim that this is now 100% exclusive group that no other girl can ever dream of being admitted to. Instead, it'd be perfectly viable for any of them to befriend someone new and bring them to the meetings of this group, to meet and perhaps become friends with the others.

Unless Jade invites Cathy to a threesome with MC in ep 12 (should be easier with no kids or Stephen around) and the relationship goes further from there.

I'm reasoning from the perspective of a player who bought the game in steam in 2030-2035 after it came out.
If you look at it that way, and not in the format of annual updates, when we have the opportunity to replay the game 10 times, the game does not withstand any criticism.
And that's not an answer to the claim. The player is not a prophet and he could not have known about Jade. It's his fault for not knowing.

I was thinking a path is more than a sex scene or two. Cathy Jade threesome to me doesn't necessarily indicate that there will be more to the relationship that already exists with Cathy.

I included Cinderella because there's no point in laying the foundation that DPC is laying for just a one off sex scene.

Then again, the player should have an idea that having sex with a teacher could/will bite him in the ass. Being Sage's adopted mother is just icing on the cake.

They could still be in an open/polyamorous (not throuple) relationship, just like I opted with Sarah. Or because of the threesome MC decides to go on a more serious relationship with Cathy.
