Every single door is a loading screen. Every 2 lines of dialogue is interrupted by those animated RPG emoticon bubbles which cannot be skipped. Run speed is slow. Game is entirely linear, but it still makes you walk in-between scenes instead of warping you in the scene. Makes me wonder, why let the player walk around at all if there is never a choice of destination? It's like a VN, except instead of nicely drawn portraits and backgrounds, you get to stare at RPG pixel art for 95% of the time. This game would instantly go up one, maybe even two stars if it was a VN game.
When something finally erotic happens, it's a coin flip on whether it will be actual CG or pixel art. The art isn't bad, it's just not to my tastes. To its credit, the one thing that makes the game redeemable is the commitment to building tension. One of the few corruption games that actually gives the corruption time to breathe. Some people will confuse story pacing with gameplay pacing, and use the slow story pacing as an excuse for this game's terrible gameplay pacing.
If you still want to put yourself through this, here's a summary of the prologue so you don't have to spend an hour on it:
I feel bad for being so harsh, since this dev is clearly putting a lot of work in. This isn't a lazily made game, you won't be scammed if you support this dev. But honestly, the game was hard for me to sit through. If this game is updated to remove all the walking and all the emojis, I'll come back and update this review.
