I just more or less binged the whole thing, so the quality of writing is beyond doubt.
This game's animations reminds me of a video in a game design course way back when, in that it's technically impressive, but doesn't do much for the game. The occasional jitter etc. pulled me out of the experience a but at times, which was kind of sad, because the setup and eye movement was spot on. So close.
To get back to the writing, normally I'm not one for the lovecraftian horror stories, but it is well executed and picked up speed near the current end as well.
Though... the last interaction was rather odd. (as others have mentioned)
After everything leading up to that, the sudden complete lack of urgency was somewhat puzzling.
Still, I will watch this space with interest.
