Sex change potion does change character sex but only appearance and body description. If male change to female, they can't get pregnant due to they still count as male character

How do you start making enough money to keep up with the debt? I've tried having all hired help out mining while mc is forging swords to sell, but that only gets me past the first payment. Am I missing something?
You need to ruthlessly optimize for money produced per unit of time. The jobs are not created equal in this regard.

Paying off the entire debt is possible, I've done it. You need to think like an evil bastard with a head full of half-remembered econ 101 lessons and a graphing calculator to the side of the desk. I'm not saying this is the only way to play the game, but if you like management sims, this is how you do it. If the words "hey hey, people" don't confer an instant Pavlovian response in your brain and if you haven't ever made a spreadsheet to optimize your gameplay strategy... maybe this isn't how you in particular have fun. But if that is your idea of fun, keep reading.

The market prices for resources don't fluctuate at all. Supply and demand no real, suck it, Adam Smithcels! Therefore, you need to be collecting the resources that are the most expensive per unit. Those take a little longer to collect per unit, but only a little. Rough stone and rough wood are only useful inasmuch as they are crafting ingredients. Mining iron, or better yet mithril produces much more $/turn. Magic wood and ironwood are harvested only a little slower than rough wood, but sell for several times more. Make sure to give your resource-collecting slaves ranks in worker and farmer; the resource collection bonuses for those classes are enormous, and make sure to equip them with the correct tool type for the resource they're collecting (yes this is a pain in the ass and the interface is bad), because again the bonus is enormous.

It's always better to get guild quests for a particular resource than it is to just sell the resource on the regular market. The guilds are always willing to buy the materials they specify in their quests at a huge markup, possibly because they were born retarded and are unaware of the existence of the market. In fact, the markup is so large that in many cases it is possible to buy the resources off the market and sell them back to the guild and still make a profit. The profit from doing this is slim, but in some cases it's worthwhile because it means you get cash instantaneously and the completed guild quests refresh the next day.

The very best possible guild quests are the ones where they request resources that can be bought for guild reputation. This is because completing guild quests also gives reputation, and you come close to neutral on guild reputation and far ahead on gold.

The slave request quests are tricky. The low and medium difficulty ones are generally OK, but the high difficulty ones that request multiple slaves are 100% a player trap because the payout doesn't scale with the number of slaves requested. Again, these quests pay a huge premium over normally selling the slaves, so it's generally worth it to look over the available slave request quests after looting a dungeon to see if the slaves you've accumulated fulfil any of the requirements, as selling them through the quest system can yield a several hundred or even thousand gold bonus vs. quick-selling them.

Try to pair dungeon clearing quests with monster killing quests of the same monster type (e.g. kill x number of undead when raiding a crypt). The one-shot combat quests where you go to a single location are better payout per turn than the dungeon clearing ones because they only take on turn, while a lengthy dungeon can be a multi-day operation. The assistance quests generally have the worst payout because the time they take to complete simply can't be whittled down short enough with character skills.

Strongly agree. If only there was some form of auto-equip/unequip unused tools so you can just make sure you have the right tools in your global inventory, the game would run smoother. It wouldn't even break the game or give an unfair advantage.

The "multitool" upgrade basically universalizes tool bonuses, but it's a mansion upgrade of all things and IIRC it's fairly expensive.

To be quite honest, the tool productivity bonus is one of many, many systems in this game which is, at least at the moment, shallow enough it only gets in the way.

Not clowning on you or anything but it's kind of funny how in a slaver RPG with quests and dungeons the first thing you try to do is hiring people to mine and crafting. Living a honest man life lmao.

just got out of the cave?
obedience was kil, you need to train slaves to get good service money out of them.
also you need to subdue/rope slaves once you initate the sex minigame, click your main character on the left row and then the target character in the right row, look for subdue and if you have a rope in your inventory you can tie them to allow other options.

Why is the dev so obsessed with forcing people to play through the story mode in its current state before they fix/add whatever they need for the core game play loop and whatever story they are trying to tell? You can't have a spouse before a certain point in the game because it locks you out of a certain reward with a character, the story isn't complete (as far as I can surmise from previous posts), the system breaks every few updates due to things getting added/changed/removed, etc.

Are they not nerf player enough?, First they remove element attack skill for physical character, Buff HP to all enemies make them harder to killed and Lock tier 2 or above materials via story basically you can only farm tier 1 materials unless progress your story

just make three death knights after farming goblin caves and your tank team is set.
until they nerf DK's then the combat will always be piss easy if you keep them as serious since the stat growth has no cap and you can obliterate enemies after you farm enough, hell, make them valkyries and you can easily tear the lanes with the sweep strike.

Can someone tell me all the current unique recruitable characters?? It's been a while since I last played, and given that I basically need a new save after all the changes I would like to know it. Thanks.

I know about recruitable characters most of them
Daisy: can be recruit at the beginning in next day by pay 200 or lower gold to slaver or If you're beastkin races you'll get free
Cali: there's chance you found note in any bandit fort and go to small slaver cave you can either buy her cost 1000 gold or fight slavers
Kurdan: can be found during Mine quest depend on you choice he'll join you if you pass charm check or defeat demoness with him or he can be either brainwashed by her
Zephyra: During battle of Millford after you pass the barrier convince her by always pick top choice
Anastasia: Can recruit at the end of first chapter by spare her life and convince her to join you, Depend on your choice she has 3 different outcome, First she'll be your slave, Second she'll be your wife cause you can't marry with other girls and third mind break her but you can't recruit Aire
Aire: After Rebel hunting talk to Duncan and talk to her in jail, At the end of first chapter if Anastasia was spared and not mind breaked select bring Aire to her
Heleviel or Lira: Depend on your choice which one who was the Priestess of Elf Capital, The girl who not selected will become your slave
Mae: Complete the ritual and recruit her with charm check by select "I'm an adventurer"
Lilia: After complete chapter 1, Hear the rumor in the town about the fairy and go to the Leafshade Haven and recruit her any method
Amelia: Complete Feline Felony by pick the right choices during the court section and recruit her in the servant guild
Hara and Jean: Can be recruit both of them by complete chapter 3 and talk both of them
Kuro: Convince her while she in jail at the end of chapter 3

There are like, ten or eleven of them- most are introduced during the MSQ.

I can't say they are all worth recruiting, unless you just like collecting.

Of the non- MSQ related ones, you've got Daisy- who you can meet in town early game and buy for cheap (you can lose her if you don't do her questline right- but it's rather easy.), Cali, who you can trigger via doing certain bandit forts (iirc anyway.), and Lilia- she's a fairy who's recruitment can be triggered in act 2 by overhearing a convo in the main city, though her actual recruitment takes place in one of the elven territories IIRC. Oh, and Jean- you just talk to her at the mages guild after the civil war.

The MSQ ones all appear during the story and are *mostly* straight forword to recruit. The Princess and her package deal Elf protector in particular might take a few attempts. Keep in mind that it's possible to lose out permanently on pretty much every unique slave/subordinate in the game And Helevial and Lira are mutually exclusive with eachother (one can become a slave only if the other becomes the ruler of the elves.)

Edit: Keep in mind, it's been a while, so I might be behind on some things.

Edit 2: And I got beaten to the punch.
