Is it the Meowscarada you got as a "second starter", or one you hacked in? If the latter, that's probably why.

When was the one trainer that you could battle over and over again go or did it get removed? Also did they remove them? One more question is there a new guide to follow I haven't played this game in about a year and I'm trying to replay it and see what's new.

They used to be in the second story of the pokecenters but they got removed. Now though, that job has sort of been replaced by someone you can battle over and over in the Dewford Ranger guild and the battle tents in Slateport and Fallarbor.

The guide hasn't been updated yet and I hope someone gets around to it soon.

I got her to level 36 and her max evolution after the third badge so there may or may not be a progression element tied to her showing up there, and I also had her stored in the box at the time.

Did you mess with anything else in debug mode? That may have broken things.

How do you remove an HM move from a pokemon?

In actual gameplay, the method for removing HM moves is to use the Move Deleter. Who lives in a town on the other side of the tiny stretch of water you have to surf across in the middle of the map, and is thus inaccessible to us.

I did, so that might be case.

Cut guy gave me HM cut that seems to be unusable on everything and no item named "cut" exists in my inventory or debug spawn menu. had to debug the move cut on to a mon by force so i could finally chop trees

Only certain pokemon can be taught cut and you don't even need to teach it to them to use it out of battle. Once you have the first badge catch a zigzagoon or a durant and they should have it as a field move without even teaching them it.

Does Pumpkaboo have a item that made him/her evolve here? I am asking this because I start a new save file with a riolu, and current have a Pumpkaboo.

None of my pokemon are giving me the option to use the "Strength" ability, not even the fighting ones. Does anyone know a pokemon that can use the ability? I've already cleared the gym and gotten the HM but no luck.
