Weekly Update - March 9th, 2025

The horrors persist, but so do I!

Nice to read another log, glad to know the testing is going on and am sure the Testies are working diligently. Have wishlisted the game already and expect the numbers grow as this one of those AVNs that really deserves it's due financial and literary recognition, has been a unique and relevant one which am sure will make people play it when they stumble on it even after its long done. But indeed happy to know we are moving closer to getting it finally on Steam.

Thanks for reading Dev, best wishes for ahead:)

It's relaxing, but it feels wrong! Like as I sit at my computer and feel that pressure of having to do renders or write code or something, then I look at my ClickUp board and it's just... blank. XD
Yea that happens when you push the game out it'll take some period to sink in, but indeed when it's wrapped up am sure you'll feel a high of euphoria; it's been such a challenging journey and to be on the correct side of that with the project finally done, is a fine achievement; so yep once again kudos to you!

I'm not an expert in trading, but according to ChatGPT:

"The cost of an indie game on Steam can vary widely depending on factors like the game's genre, scope, popularity, and the developer's pricing strategy. However, most indie games typically fall within the following price ranges:

  • Low-cost indie games: $5 - $15
Many smaller indie games, especially those with simpler mechanics or shorter playtimes, tend to be priced in this range. These are often smaller projects or experimental titles.
  • Mid-range indie games: $15 - $30
Indie games that offer more content, polish, or a deeper experience might fall into this range. They may include things like larger open-world environments, more extensive storylines, or highly developed mechanics.
  • Premium indie games: $30 - $50
A few indie games, especially ones with a very high level of polish or unique features (like "Hades" or "Hollow Knight"), can be priced higher. These games often offer a much larger scale or a more intensive development effort.

Some games also go on sale regularly (especially during Steam sales), and prices can drop significantly during those times. It's also common to see games discounted at launch for early buyers or for specific seasonal events.

In general, indie games are often more affordable than major AAA titles, but the price still depends on the scope and quality of the game."

Release is imminent! Kinda! (Title of your sex tape)

Congratulations Nine am sure it'll be a terrific one to hit on Steam and as a supporter am happy that contributed in a small way to this wonderful creation. But yep big news and expect you get more wishlists in, maybe some bundles can also help with Steam sales and marketing but am sure you know it better and might be working on it too. So once again kudos for all the work!

Thanks for reading Dev, best wishes for ahead:)

Mythos is coming!
Congrats Nine of Swords.
Even if you did, though… it’s been over a year. You probably forgot shit.
To be honest, even if it was yesterday I will probably already forgot something :)

Also, you can remind yourself how hilarious I am.
You have a great sens of humor.
I think that plus the fact that you always keep us updated and you interact quite a lot with us are the reasons why you have a loyal fan base.

Yes, and maybe it has something to do with the fact that it's a great story and she's a talented writer, but shhh! Don't let her get carried away! You know how full of herself she is! ;)

Nine of Swords

I wanted to point out, in an ironic way, what some developers do when they say "The game is almost ready!". Sorry, I forgot that you still don't trust your abilities enough. I'll stick to the classic jokes:

Okay, this needs to be in the proper order ...

---

Tara, when someone pretend werewolves don't exists:

"... wait, WHAT?!?!"
It could also be texan tara waiting for nine to pick her up, for what she hopes would be a hot date, and seeing nine's so called car... Which for a texan could lead to ...wait, WHAT?!?!
