on steam season 1 has ep 1-3 available for free. ep 1-8 can be bought as a dlc. Season 2 has only the first episode for now.

If you calculate the earnings on Patreon, this dev AT MINIMUM is getting paid 90k a year to make this game. Maybe I'm wrong but I highly doubt he or she has a full-time job on the side. The subscriber count has actually gone down since the last update, when they were making over 10k a month, again, AT MINIMUM. I have a gut feeling that this dev is dragging these updates out much longer than needed and is more focused on a silly discord. With that kind of income, I would expect small updates almost every month.

When people earn money more than they should, it is always like this. You say 90k ha ? it makes around 7-8k for month and in this economy even highly respected jobs , seniors can't get that money.
If subscribes will continue to drop significantly - I hope - , you will see then we start getting monthly high quality updates.

I wonder if they pay taxes, for more than one person to help create the VN. I wonder if he steals all of his equipment and pirates all of the software needed to create this VN. I wonder if they pay for an office or just breaks into other people building and uses there space and electricity. If you calculate from a business perspective the outlying costs to actually create this VN is probably fairly high. Of course we all know the Dev steals and pirates every thing and is just milking his Patreon supporters while spending 6 months on an Italian beach. Right?

Lmao a lot of the games are based on re-used assets if you just play some similar titles. For example, I have seen the exact same massage parlor in several other games. Their clothing and facial features are also a mix of re-used assets from other games. Maybe not stolen but just based on what Daz3D has to offer. Also, no shot in hell that this dev has a whole ass office for this game, this ain't Bethesda
Hey, power to the dev because they are making really good money from this. Plus I think this is maybe the best female protagonist game that I've played, but I think the time between updates that are relatively small is just a bit disingenuous, and also will hurt the dev long term. This dev could be making twice as much if there were more frequent small updates than just posting vanilla Saturday pics on the Patreon for 3 months straight that offer little to nothing to the progress of the next "episode" lmao
