When it is ready. Is there any update for when v0.4 public release will be?
Thanks for the reply, look forward to the update! When it is ready.
Supporters on Subscribestar have been testing a preview of 0.4.0 for the last two weeks. I have no idea when Feebs will be ready with the final version, but it will probably still take a while because I keep on reporting typos and minor bugs (so many that some other testers are joking by blaming me for the delays). But don't worry: from what I have seen so far, 0.4.0 is worth the wait.
I have a feeling that it will be very soon...when version 0.4.0 will be public
This is a small bug that can happen if you talk about Joint Projects in the embassy before meeting Sinem (in the Milky Way). This bug is mostly harmless and disappears as soon as you meet Sinem.Getting an error if I click on "Joint Projects" when talking with Sena:
Error: <<if>>: bad conditional expression in <<elseif>> clause (#1): State.variables.kh is undefined
Edit: Well, the error is gone now, not sure what went wrong before.
If you keep on training with her, you will eventually reach a scene that ends with "Dev Comment: This is as far as I've taken Sena's content for now." so it is difficult to know if the training will have a significant influence on the story.Edit: Just stumbled on the martial arts classes with Sena. If those are to have any practical effect, I'd suggest either adding them to the task list or adding Sena to the character tracker doo-hickey.
And I thought that I had reported all typos! You don't have permission to view the spoiler content. Log in or register now.
You should download the full game from the links given in the OP. Downloading just the HTML page from the online version will not work. You would be missing about 4300 images, movies and audio files. When downloading the gateway html file the jpg images don't load with the game
It is difficult to know why she does not appear because this depends a lot on where you are in the story and what you did before. For some events, you may have to wait around a week for her to show up. But if you tried to push things further when you met her for the second time (or third time, I don't remember) then she will not trust you anymore and you may have locked yourself out of her story. She will not come back until a future version of the game provides an alternative way to unlock her story.Seraphina does not appear in gateway B. Does anyone know why?
In my current test game, when I met Harriet I gave her the ridiculously long name "Harriet/offw/Piper_mom" so that I don't forget that she is an offworlder and Piper's mom. Also, the cast of characters is now so sprawling that keeping track of them and their relationships is a challenge, especially when returning to a new update. Being told the MC needs to "spend time with Piper's mother" is less helpful when I don't remember who that is. I think it might be Harriet, one of the hired labourers, but nothing seems to come up whenever I find her around the place.
The only task I have left is hers and I know I didn't lock myself out (I checked the code to be sure) and it's been at least 30 days. This is a small bug that can happen if you talk about Joint Projects in the embassy before meeting Sinem (in the Milky Way). You should find Harriet in the kitchen one morning. If you assigned her to some shifts, talk to her before she starts working. I will not spoil the details, but basically you have to flirt with Harriet during her shifts and then alternate between talking to Piper about her mom, talking to Harriet during her shifts, and waiting a bit for some events to happen.
Yes, this is a bug. I already reported it to Feebs yesterday, just after the release. Fortunately the Milky Way is only about optional content so this will not block anything significant in the story. But the optional content will not be available until the bug is fixed (well, you can still replay the scenes from the Movies app, but that's not the same thing). If you are on the 'Milky Way' story after the stalker event and talking to Senna, unlocking the Milky Way again and all that the stalker event triggered again, for me at least, locking the Milky Way indefinitely since I cannot start the Aegis project with Senna a second time.
This is another known bug. If you join the Discord server for Gateway (link in the OP), go to #bugs and check the topic "Tracker visual bug". Unfortunately we haven't been able to pinpoint the conditions for reproducing that bug. You might help if you remember what you were doing just before this bug appeared. I suspect that it is related to the usage of the Movies app on the computer, but I am not sure about that.View attachment 4533062 View attachment 4533063
There is a minor issue with the tracker for Piper. Not entirely sure why it comes up with 4, but happens constantly, and press the arrows sets it back to 2, at least until next change of scenary.
Just something to have in mind when bug-hunting for the real bugs.
