I just downloaded Update Only (v0.10.X -> v0.11.1) [1,65 GB] and put it in the game folder
In what game folder? Was it an unmodified release 0.10?

Did you merge the source "game" folder into the destination "game" folder overwriting existing files when prompted?

Or did you created a "game" subfolder inside the destination "game" folder?
HINT: if the OS did not prompt you to overwrite existing files... Chances are that you did this mistake (or a similar one).
In applying the patch there's some overwriting involved.

There are other clues in the video as well which I doubt can be solved without playing the game. They seem to be referencing in-game events.

Looks like a clock to me.

Five cups of drinks.

Those are just two examples. There's a few more of them in the video.
The lower one can easily be a hint to the story: 3 becomes 2 (aka throuple).
The clock: Could be anything. It could reference New Years Eve, it could reference the time they have to get Derek's finger attached, it could mean someone's time is ending (most probably Quinn and/or Burke) etc.

My game keeps crashing at the exact same spot, just a few frames into the new update. The attached sreenshot is the last frame I get before the crash. I've tried downloading from different sources, new saves, new persistent files, and even a different computer, but it still crashes at that same spot. Anyone had this happen or know any workarounds?
Yeah the thread is full of people who is using the unmodded v0.11 with saves from a v0.10 with scrappy mod.

Either apply the new scrappy mod, or use the search function searching this thread for

renpy.quit

and you'll find tens of post explaining what's happening

OK, thanks for the info. Tons of posts to look through so I didn't see it.

I don't remember modding the game, but I guess it was years ago at this point, so who knows.

I meant the part about getting just 4 young fish, that sounded weird. The number should be considerably higher than than in a clean tank, unless the player made the mistake of heaving overfeeding the fish (the amount of food in the tank should ideally match the number of fish, or at the very least not exceed it by more than few units)
Oh... maybe then is because I put food to 100%.

Thanks for the hint. (y)

(Anyway, I repeat... If it's randomised, the possibility that doing the right things the number of offsprings is low is just unlikely and not impossible. - By definition of random.

It's very unlikely to enter a casino, make one bet on a single number, and to win. But it sometimes happens.)

Wait. You can overfeed the damn fish? I just thought you were to keep the damn count at 100. Damn Nick. He should have never left me with such a heavy burden.

If it quits at that point is 100% an "if" clause that DPC wrote to target scrappy mod.

Technically is not a crash (in facts you don't have any error messages nor traceback.txt file), but a forced quit.

It affects your "permanent" file so you have to remove it both locally from "game/saves" and from "%appdata%\renpy\beingaDIKseason3..."

Anybody have 100% of seen dialogue? Do you have to fail tests? I'm sure failing to fix the mansion opens up a bunch of dialogue. What other obscure choices have you guys seen?

I'm up and running now. Thanks so much for pointing me in the right direction.

Does anyone know the console cmd for changing affinity and does it change it from one to the other or can you do it incrementally?
Console

affinity="NEUTRAL"(it is either ' ' or " ", figure it out)
affinity="DIK"
affinity="CHICK"

dtype= (1 to 20) or (-1 to -20)

money=10

pp_money=99

mansion_money=2000

ft_money=40 (Fish Tank)

etc, etc

If you google Being a DIK console commands ep 10, there is a thread for this on regedit. Including brawler etc.

Which Lab girl are you referring too here, there is at least 3 you could be referring too.
Nora
Sally
Hot Yoga Girl/Thirsty Ghoul/Cinderella/Nikita
I cant be talking about Nora, because he already got together with Nora. I can't be talking about Sally, because I would either call her by her name or I would have said she is also around since ep.1.

So your only answer is the third one.
