VN - Ren'Py - Away from Home [Ep.1-25] [vatosgames]

Wow! The models are fantastic, the animations are almost perfect, and there's a lot of them. Maybe too many. At times it feels like there's no story towards the beginning and middle of the game. Towards chapter 12 it actually really pulls you in, but falls off again.

Another thing in the writing, when it's not someone screaming AAAYYYYYEEEE during sex, it's pretty coherent and pretty well written. EP 18 (most recent when played) had god awful writing though, mistakes, non-linear, just weird as hell at times. But considering it's the most recent episode available, I imagine it's like it's in beta and pushed out for extra content.

Hope to see more come from this game, improvements on the writing, and honestly building up sex scenes some more. No one visits a family friend (or aunt) who changed them as a baby years later and almost fucks them on the first encounter. But the model quality and animation quality do make up for it!

Away from Home is a visual novel that is mainly about having sex with MILFs behind their husbands back. There's only two characters I believe that aren't MILFs you can have sex with and they have less and less content as the game progresses. It ends up being a cucking simulator where every husband is either impotent or just a douche so you fuck their wives for them.

I'm definitely someone who enjoys MILFs so there's a lot of content in the game I enjoy. I do wish the character models were more varied as they all have big tits and a fat ass, which I like, but when they all look the same it gets a bit boring. The sex scenes are well made and you can choose if you want the heavy husband humiliation dialogue or not, which is a nice addition for those who don't like NTR. The way they write the girls moaning is a bit odd but you get over it pretty quick.

The plot is one you've most likely seen before if you've played any adult games before. Your dad was doing some shady stuff and now you're investigating. It essentially is just there to give you another reason to fuck these dudes wives, as some them are also involved in this shady business. The game also just goes right into fucking everyone. Theres almost no building a relationship before fucking for most of the girls. It feels very sudden sometimes. One of the MILFs literally fucks you because she got horny listening to you fuck her daughter. Away from Home definitely has porn logic which is fine as long as you're not expecting anything more. The sex scenes are good, not great. The angles can be weird and the scenes are also repetitive. A lot of them are fucking characters in the same three positions and then later fucking them while they talk to their husband.

Overall I feel like this is a pretty run of the mill VN which is why I'm giving it three stars. I would recommend it, especially if you like MILFs, incest, and cheating themes. Away from Home just doesn't match up to a lot of other VNs that are currently out in terms of varied character models, plot/writing, and sexual content. It also isn't super long, especially for a game that has been in development since 2019. You can probably get through it in a few hours.

If you're into incest, and MILF's, this game is a must! The models are unique and keep in mind that the graphics improve a lot.
Sex scenes 11/10 - seriously! Great animations with multiple angles AND positions, good dialogue and very frequent with different scenarios.
Characters 8/10 - MC is assertive. The females characters have different personalities, with different stories, so you won't feel like every character is the same or bland.
The game focus on the sex scenes and they are very well done. The story and scenario is there to spicy things up and keep the scenes interesting.
TLDR: It's a PORN game well done, so come with the right expectation. Just enjoy the porn with the Milfs!

Overall, this is a pretty good time. If you like voluptuous, slight exaggerated women and lots of fapping material, then come on in... the water is perfect.

The renders are all well done and the fapping scenes go from good to really good and there are a lot of them. No one can complain about the lack of content in this game. All the women are unique and there is a different story for each and there is a little bit of everything.

You can cuck every dude in the game, have sex with your "maid", piss off your cousin, bang your other cousin, nail your neighbor... the list is endless.

The downside for me is the story and the MC. The MC is a total ass. There is nothing likable about him. He is mean, selfish and only cares about dipping his wick and does not really care if he hurts anyone in the process. I will say, there is an okay story that runs underneath everything else but it is nothing special.

So... if you like a game with lots of good fapping material and you don't really care too much about the MC and the story then you will enjoy it. Even I have fun with this game even tho I like having a good story and a semi-decent MC to play. It's worth a download. You may find you love it.

Good: Renders look very good, big booty MILFs all around who you can creampie without protection.

Meh: Story. On one hand it's a porn story where every woman is just waiting to cheat on their husbands their whole life. On the other hand with Nora ("Maid"/Mom) there is a lot of teasing until at some point she breaks down and joins your harem. Oh and there is also some very superficial crime story, but that's only to give you a justification to cuck your dad basically.

This is one of the insane stamina big dick MC fucks every women on its path and women are too depraved or inexperienced to not fall for him kind of game. MC never goes a day without a hole to stuff with his dick. No sexually active males are present to challenge his sphere of sexuality too. Everything about this game is average and predictable. If this was my first ever AVN it would have been impressive but no... Not terrible though I should say, you can chill, read it a little, then skip dialogues to get to the scenes and you won't miss a thing. All the gameplay loop is getting to the scenes anyway. The game strives not for above averageness in any way too imo. Dev is happy with releasing average content for 17 episodes. If there will be a huge harem orgy with all the women we fuck at the end I would give this game 4 stars though.

-Visuals and animations are refreshing I will give you that but scenes lack SFX and proper varied soundtracks to set the mood. This gets the game 3 stars.
-Cheap pulp fiction plot nothing exciting so far.
-Dialogues are same and bloated, dirty talks are straight copy-paste. (AYEEE) Besides main plot and sexuality there is nothing to talk about between characters. Insatiable sexbots all around.
-Characters are superficial and one dimensional to fit into stereotypes and fantasies so MC can fuck and fulfill those fantasies.
-Main story and plot is 10-20% of the content, remainder is mindless porn.
-If you are into cucking, defloration, corruption, incest there can be more enjoyment in this game for you but not a thing you can call good imo.

It is worth a play for eye candy value, play it through once with skipping if you can bear with it. Get the gallery unlocker watch the scenes and uninstall type of game.

On the surface he looks fine until you get a better look. Underneath he is actually a douche.

The character has a pretty weak moral compass and absolutely no game. His idea of flirting or trying to pick up women is " I want to fuck you, I can't wait to fuck you, I'm going to fuck you" , etc. That's not even dirty sex talk, that's his opening. Let's face it, if you went to the girl next door and opened with that it's not going to go over so well. Of course this is a porn game so the ladies all act like it's the most romantic thing they've heard. When there is an over reliance on a single word or phrase it shows a lack of writing skills. The sex scene dialogs need serious help.

He also lies to Lilly about the difference between hanging out and a date to manipulate her naivete. At least I hope the Dev knows that going on a date doesn't mean you're getting laid, especially if a first or second date. Then for her first time he was even a douche about that. The whole thing was tacky.

He goes on to cuck Adam, I kind of felt bad for that character as he did nothing to deserve getting cucked. From there he cucks his own dad, again not sure dad deserved it.

The MC ends up with a harem he does nothing to earn, it just falls in his lap. Also you have to wonder about so many women willing to cheat on their husbands with no second thought.

This could be better with an MC who had better character, knew how to actually flirt and talk to women, especially ones he professes to care about and wasn't so crude and tacky.

I am not usually to write comments. But i think this game is too good that i highly recommend it.

I dont write much review (in fact this is my first), but this game has some unique model and I'd say they are the best looking I've seen here and I've tried a lot of good VN. I hope the dev continue to deliver some good stuff. Animations are really good and I really like the style of the last episodes. Can't wait for updates and might consider become a patreon soon !

At first the game looks really aged but it keeps getting better, maybe we can hope for a remaster from the begining.

One of my Fave Five. Interesting to just forget things and play a horndog sniffing out every gal in the neighborhood. Not sure where the storyline is going but it seems to be playing out well while still letting hormones run amok in a bit of fun fashion...

This game has some unqiue models that look really great.
Renders look great and animations are good.
Storywise is pretty average but its still in development so who knows how it will end.
You can also see how the developer got better with time since both renders and models look better the further into the game you get!

The story is alright
The character models are not good in the first few episodes, but later they are good
The stories of the characters are mid, but you have a lot of sex scenes with them

Overall it's more of a porn game than a real story driven VN so 3/5 stars

I started this game quite a while ago and enjoyed it quite a bit, felt that it held great potential. Then, for whatever reason, around episode 4 or 5 I just kind of forgot about it, then picked it up again a couple days ago.

My major impression of the game so far is: Holy shit the MC is a sociopath, he has no good relations except maybe his (female) cousin and his aunt. He pressures his mother like a high schooler on a date using the worst pseudo psychology possible to justify his actions.

The path for his male cousin has only two options. Break his soul by fucking his crush and his mother in front of him or give him a girl like a Christmas present . The netori aspects for all the other characters was understandable. Cold husbands, asshole husbands, and a micro penis (lol). But the cousin was just an introverted gamer.

Animations: Above Average (I'm no 3D artist, but it seems that the models could have been positioned better in a lot of them to me)

My review with the latest update - Ch 1-17

Plot -- The MC is moving to his aunt's house as his police father is working on a case that makes them vulnerable to live in the same city as him. (As expected) Aunt and her neighbours are eye candy milfs, each having their gripe with their husbands and they're yours for the picking. The main plot involves you helping your father solve his case, mostly over the phone.

The Good

1) Story is mildly believable and the writers have done a fair job keeping up the pace of the main plot while introducing new characters and advancing the character arcs of individual ladies.
2) You mostly have 2 options; go after the young teens or their hot moms. I chose the later because of my penchant for milfs (sue me! ) . The milf paths have been rewarding with the devs + writers putting a lot of effort into the mother's arc, for good reason. Some subplots are silly, while others are too real to pursue, especially a couple who have peculiar issues and you do feel for the guy, yet you're almost like a moth to the flame when you pursue debauchery with his wife.
3) The last few chapters feel rushed as has been pointed out by several other players as well.

The Bad

1) The renders of the characters, especially the mother in earlier chapters. She was pale, had a horrible smile and you wanted to run away from her in any scene. It was and still to some extent applies to the cousin as well.

2) The writing wasn't inspiring but it wasn't downright awful either, but it could be much more meaningful for certain scenes if some efforts are put into it. Thus far, it applies to most characters except the aunt and mother's arc which are written with great care and effort. I'm not sure if this is by design but hard to miss, at least I spotted it.

3) Some character introductions are forced, especially in recent updates while at times choices seem to have been skipped. For instance, at the end of the recent chapters, you miss a threesome with 2 milfs but you never got to make that choice (I didn't follow any walkthrough, played mostly on the milf paths).

4) In earlier chapters, choice of BG music was awkward. There were scenes that demanded serious music when it was lullaby/lounge music. This wasn't the case as the chapters progressed, so not a major red flag.

4) Lastly, I avoided Netori games like the plague but boy was it kinky as hell. I liked the possibility of being caught rather than the Netori aspect itself.

Overall, since the renders have improved and what was an average storyline, seemed to have held its own shows the writers' conviction, which should be appreciated. Hope to see a satisfying end to the story and perhaps short epilogues for the main characters especially the aunt and mother would mark it as a good, if not greatest game.

This is now my favorite game in this site so far. Damnit the girls are too hot. MILFs everywhere, netori, pregnancy, tons of animation and good renders... is this heaven?

The only thing this game lacks is an excuse to throw the other men cockblocking the MC out of the house and make the MC earn some money to make the harem oficial with all the women in the house.

I also think that the dev could take it a little easier on Cody and the other bald guy, they are just too pitiful.

TL;DR: Excelent FAP material, go for it.

A game that tries to mix story with smut and at times succeeding.

It has the usual trope of absurd situations with girls throwing themselves at mc for no reason. There isn't really a character that stands out and is interesting so the main selling point is sex.

From the sex point of view it does it rather well, there are plenty of hot sexual situations if you can gloss over the fact that they're pretty absurd.

Story is... Ok. Perhaps above average but its inconsequential tbh.

I got into the game not expecting much, but surprisingly I found myself enjoying it quite a bit.

Renders and Animations are serviceable. I'd give them a 3 or 3.5. Some of the early game renders are a bit wonky, but you can tell that the developers are getting better the further the game is developed.

Writing is a solid 3/5. Average. Nothing mind-numbingly horrid, but also not much to write home about. The plotline is trying to do something with your absent father and the mafia, but it's really all just kind of in the background and most of it falls flat.

So why the 4/5 then? Three words my friend. INCEST MILFs NETORI.
While the rest of the game is quite run-of-the-mill, this game EXCELS with Incest, Milfs, and Netori content. Your mother, your aunt, your cousin, your next-door neighbors, the Chad MC pretty much goes about his day banging and cucking every household in the neighborhood as you slowly build a harem of horny desperate housewives.

If you're not interested in the aforementioned genres, you're not missing out on much by passing on this game. BUT If you are man of culture who enjoys INCEST, MILFs & NETORI, please do give this game a try as the game really does deliver boatloads on those three genres.

Overall, a game that despite its averageness, Highly excels in its 3 strengths: INCEST, MILFS & NETORI. Solid 4/5 Good game.
