VN - Ren'Py - Away from Home [Ep.1-25] [vatosgames]

Nearly a perfect AVN. Good number of romantic interests. Lots of h-scenes. Even has a passably well-written story. Each chapter feel complete. The dev seems like they are committed to adding content - even then the existing content is very good.

A mindless fuckfest of forbidden relationships with barely a story.

Cons

• Fast and easy sex scenes with little to no buildup. Sex feels cheap and not earned!
• Lots of forbidden sex with no emotional depth. The game basically ends up being a mindless fuckfest!
• Poor writing. The writing and dialogue reads like it was written by a kid who hasn't gone past the holding hands stage. Relationships are very unrealistic to the point of cringe!
• Barely a story. Just enough to get the MC from sex scene to sex scene
• Very little character development, very little corruption. All females want to fuck the MC immediately aside from the mother/landlady
• English problems, not terrible but noticeable
• Author always uses "come" instead of "cum" - feels odd
• Large breasts look fake (boob job) with an unnatural shape
• Author has a big ass fetish with all girls having huge asses - all MILFS are thick/voluptuous
• Fucking Sophia for the first time said that she was really tight and that it hurt her. She's Chloe's mother and is far from a virgin.
• Weak as fuck threesome with Sophia and Eva (one blowjob from Eva and one vaginal penetration scene with Sophia - that's it)
• Episode 4 summary said that I won't help Cody with Chloe yet I agreed to help him. In addition the player is never given an option to give Chloe to Cody. If you agree to give Chloe to Cody you simply lose access to Chloe as a love interest and are locked out of her path - Bug.
• If you reject Susan as a love interest you also end up closing her daughter Lydia's path also (didn't realize this until later - wasn't happy)
• MC relentlessly harasses employees at a mafia warehouse for information with zero consequences
• Faceless MC
• MC has sex with lots of married women who all have one thing in common - Their husbands neglect them and haven't fucked them in years. Only the MC is capable of itching their pussy.
• Environments are minimally developed. Homes have furniture but don't look lived in. For example the mother's bed towards the beginning of the game is just a mattress with no sheets.
• Lighting is poor in too many scenes where it shouldn't be, especially during the first half of the game
• Author doesn't understand that males are on average 15% larger than females. Small boned males and large boned females are the norm here. Problem seems to be common amongst rendered games - large females and small males.
• Adam Watson said that his penis size isn't sufficient to get his wife pregnant - false, size has nothing to do with impregnating a woman. Even low testosterone won't prevent a man from getting a girl pregnant. It has everything to do with the health and viability of the sperm (low testosterone doesn't necessarily hinder this).
• Very little dating, lots of hookup sex. Lots of quickies (very short sex scenes)
• Nearly all sex scenes follow the same formula - quick blowjob to pussy fuck. Very little variety with the sex scenes. Sex scenes quickly become repetitive and boring!
• Roughly 50% of all sex scenes get interrupted by someone
• Blowjobs are often not animated (first half of the game especially)
• Lots of repetition with the background music - same clips are reused and played over and over again
• Animations are hit and miss. A few are really good while lots of the vaginal penetration animations look weird with the MC or girl just squirming back and forth with almost no back and forth movement. There are very few penetration scenes where the MC goes from tip to balls deep, back and forth on repeat.

I went into the game with good expectations (expecting a 4.5 rated game) and the more I played it the more disappointed I became. It just feels like it was written by a horny teen who's never had a girlfriend or had sex before. The author kills immersion over and over again (worse than beating a dead horse).

I honestly dislike rating a game lower than 3 stars but I can't justify a higher rating sadly.

If you love MILFs and forbidden sex and don't care about the story or writing then perhaps give the game a try, everyone else should steer clear.

If you love Milf (friend's mom or mom's friend and neighbor's wife) this game can make your dream come true. character have charming and sexy (Eva and Sophia is my main).
More content look so long story but not boring and slow burn you can select at first in game for incest (swap your maid to mom and Eva is your aunt) or normal story. Cg is good render that normal for me but not bad .
9/10 for me is very good milf game

Potential spoilers:

The wife and son of a high profile law enforcement agent spend the summer with the MC's aunt, while the father investigates a notorious mafia crime syndicate. Soon after we find that the wife and son are actually sent to the same city where the bad guys are operating. And if that doesn't sound strange enough, it gets even sillier when the father asks his son to help him identify the most dangerous man in the country. I was left scratching my head on that one.

Thankfully, this silly plot line is more about setting up the backstory than actually turning into an erotic crime drama, and once that is established we get back to the real business at hand, which is to see the irresistible MC fuck every female in the game.

And that's pretty much it. The MC goes around banging his mom, aunt, cousin, neighbors and friends. At one point I was like, hey, this guy must have shot over three gallons of sperm so far, and nobody is pregnant yet? But just as I said that, the option does eventually open up for pregnancy.

There are also two bizarre cuckold storylines. These aren't your traditional meek husband likes watching his wife getting fucked deals. No, the first involves his aunt and her introverted son, and the second involves a divorced woman and her obnoxious son. In both of these storylines the mothers ridicule the sons while the MC fucks the mothers in front of the children.

Personally I found these scenes to be a bit distasteful, as I could not envision any scenario where a mother would do that to their child. It also makes it hard to like the Aunt's character after seeing her do this to her son. Is this even a fetish?

Pros:
1-An ass mans paradise. There is an abundance of sex scenes focusing on big beautiful asses getting plowed.
2- A Milf lovers paradise. I believe there are at least four very hot Milfs that the MC gets to fuck over and over again. Definitely makes my top 10 list of MILF games.
3- Most of the females are very attractive.
4- Some very nice renders.
5- Sex animations are inconsistent, but there are a number of them that are very nice.

Cons:
1- The writing is very inconsistent.
2- Missed numerous opportunities to infuse humor into the game.
3- The warped cuckold scenes were a bit distasteful. Especially highlighting the mothers disdain for their own children.
4- 25 chapters and it's pretty much the same thing over and over. Don't get me wrong, I love seeing the bootylicious Milfs getting pounded, but it appears to be more like fan service at this point. With very few story plot twists it all becomes rather redundant.
5- You don't see the Mc's face. No idea why.

The hot Milfs and big beautiful booty's make this game worthy, despite the sketchy writing and questionable cuckold stuff.

Away From Home…. there’s a lot of things that need to be unpacked with this one. I’ll keep it simple because I’m too lazy to write the whole paragraphs (we’ll see) for this assumingly uninteresting game.

First, the graphics. It’s fine, not the best but it won’t gouged your eyes either. I think the dev is using the models from DAZ Genesis 2 variants since they look quite different than many AVNs out there (most DAZ-based games are using Genesis 8 and 9 models).

Second, the sex animations. They’re quite simple at first (still above 24 fps and not even choppy), but they became better and better each episodes.

Now, here comes the most important part which is the story. You started as a 21 year old guy who moved away from his hometown with his maid because your dad told you so. Once you’ve arrived at your maid’s sister’s house, you’ll be given some task by your dad to spy on the local branch of a nationwide mafia ring. This goes on for 8-12 episodes, after that the whole game shifts into a cuck simulator, except that you’re not the one who’ll get cucked, it’s actually other way around. Anyway, we’ll talk more about that in the next paragraph.
Last but not least, the main character. I want to talk about the MC, well I kinda dislike the way he behaves in the first few episodes. He’s 21 but acts like a 17 year old teenager. The only moment where he truly acts like an adult is when he slaps his maid’s sister’s son for staying all day in front of his computer. Even when he’s doing his spy shit, he almost blows his cover multiple times. Glad that day is over because ever since that moment, he’s matured more and more, becomes a big bully, and decided to fuck every women he sees without getting caught. Not going to lie, I think the dev is an avid viewer of those goofy ass porn vids from B*ng Br*s with the insane unrealistic plot. Why? Because when the MC have sex with someone, there’s a 98% chance of them getting interrupted by her husband/boyfriend. Please Vatosgames, let us have sex in peace for once…. or twice!

Now the very last part, which is the choices. Basically this game has three main girls who you can’t avoid, which are your maid, her sister, and her sister’s daughter. Other women are avoidable. To be honest, I’m quite disappointed with that because I like to pursue one girl at a time. There’s also choices to impregnate every women in this game, even the ones with a husband/boyfriend. I don’t know what will be the end of this game with those decisions, but I’m going to hold my breath here for a moment. We’ll see if Vatosgames manages to come up with a not-so-boring idea.

This is one of my top favorite games under the Incest tag. While I will admit the overall story is a little thin, I enjoy all the stories of the different women the MC is with. I really like how all of the housewives/MILFs have their own different issues with their husbands that give them reason to seek intimacy with the MC. I enjoy the different attitudes and ways to cuck the other men in the game.

My review of the game by certain chapter.

Chapter 1 I don't like how certain sex scenes are forced. Like I want to end things with landlady. Chloe's sex scene is alright, and I can stop her mom's romance path. Lastly, I don't like how you have a choice to end Nora's romance, but it doesn't... continuation in another chapter.

Chapter 2 I love to continue sex scene's with Chloe, I'm fine with continuing it but the worse part is saying you fake love Lily... You tell Lily it's just sex with Chloe, but then say you are dating.

Chapter 10 At the end of the day choices don't matter, I ended up getting a handjob from Nora, even though I choice to not have a relationship with her. The choices in this game are an illusion after seeing this. I'm not going to continue after this chapter, but you should get the gist of it after reading all the above.

This is a ok-ay game, I guess... I will continue it though.

I've played through over 170 VNs and compared with many out there, I could only give this a 3-star.

+ Lots of scenes. Not all sex scenes, but great use of highlighting bikini clad models and changing room events.

> More of a linear story VN versus anything where choices matter.

-- I really disliked how characters like Lily in the same scene goes from first kiss ever to all-out sex in three-seconds flat. It made no sense. Sorry for the spoiler, but that shows this VN misses so many build-up/foreplay, corruption, and/or erotic opportunities; instead we get generic porn scenarios. The same goes for most of the MILFs in this story = "Hi my name is <MC>", "Oh, great, fuck me in the back hallway because my husband doesn't show me any attention."

+ The animations at times seem to get better as the chapters progress. At least there are some basic animations from the beginning.

-- Writing is pretty bad...generic porn level scenarios with every MILF being in an unloved relationship or no relationship and each has 'needs' that only our young MC can meet. Also, the 'bad guy' story is okay and very much in the background as a side quest that shows up infrequently.

OVERALL:
I don't know understand some of the 5-star ratings. But I guess if you've not played that many VNs then this may seem awesome. I tried this back in the day when only a handful of chapters were out and liked it enough then (before I experienced many more VNs) that I had it on my, Try Again, list. You may find some entertainment here.

Gives the player a choice of who to romance, story is reasonable, PLent of stealiong lovers of other men in the game. The games of graphics are good, creator seems to focus on adding another piece to th egame for every update

Great content! Great animation, this is super fun to play and story development is top notch with and a lot of variety of options and action as well, so the story is not bland. Love and can't wait to see what updates have in store

I would say this is a great porn game but a very mediocre adult VN. If what you want is lots of nicely rendered sex scenes, then this is for you. If you want a good story with interesting, deep and realistic characters and interactions, then nah. It kinda feels like the story is there just because it is needed and the main purpose of the game is just having sex. I have to be fair and admit I didn't play all the chapters properly but at least up to the 11th-12th ones, what I said applies. The MC is an immature sex machine who cannot see a bit of exposed skin on a womans body without going crazy and wanting to fuck their brains out. Are men seriously like that in real life?

It's basically just a mindless fuckfest. Does it have some qualities? Yes. But it's really just for people who are interested in MILFs, incest, and infidelity, and doesn't appear to have any emotional depth. Just forbidden fucking. And you are unable to say "no" to sex.
You are forced to fuck your landlady/aunt, maid/mother, and some random girl who's friends with your cousin. It's weird; the game is written to almost work without the incest patch. But not quite.
The character models aren’t very good; they don’t look very realistic. Perhaps in part because of that, the sex scenes fall flat for me, even though they all offer first person views. Either way, they’re a minus, but far from the worst I’ve ever seen. And the sex scene writing is, to my taste, quite poor. And the sex scene music is quite unerotic.
But that isn’t my main problem. There are two:
The first is a lack of choices. If you don’t want to fuck your aunt and mother, whether because you’re against incest but the plot doesn’t quite make sense without it, or because you don’t find them attractive, or because you want to roleplay as someone who isn’t a homewrecker, there’s no way out.
But my larger problem with this game is the lack of emotion, other than lust.
I like fucking, but when I want to see fucking with absolutely no emotion, I'll watch porn videos. I play these games for more than that, as I suspect do most of you. And the description of the game is "You'll reunite with your old friends after 12 years and encounter new people while trying to find out why did your father send you away from home," not "you'll go away from home and get the chance to fuck everyone." If it had been the latter, I wouldn’t have as much of a problem with it. But the actual description just isn’t what it’s about.
There is some stuff about the father and plot and stuff, but it’s a small portion of the game, and isn’t well done. The protagonist bumbles through everything, and would almost certainly get caught and killed within a day. Spoiler alert: he doesn’t.
A question I ask myself, when reviewing, is "what do I know about the girls, outside of their sexuality?":
Just about the only thing you know about the girls is that they want to fuck you.
Just about only things you know about the MILFs are: that they have problems with their husbands, and that they want to fuck you.
So, if you want a mindless incest, milf, infidelity fuckfest, and you like the character models, you might like this. Otherwise, I highly doubt it.

I don't understand the positive reviews.

The game has almost 5 stars, I thought it would be really good with an interesting story and relationships that build over time, but in the end you launch the game and you realize it's a fuckfest with a story that has nothing interesting, etc.

If the story isn't important to you, give it a try, but if you want something good, I'd advise you to try something else.

Great game with very good looking models. Almost everyone looks like a bbl demon so if you are into it - it's a no-brainer. No grinding or moving around too. It's basically a VN where you have to choose the correct option to score

Had high hopes for this one, but in the end I felt a bit let-down.

The models are nice, if not a bit overly curvy, but still very appealing. The 'animations' are a bit basic, though, and to be honest the whole dialogue reads like it was written by a kid who hasn't gone past the 'holding hand' stage. Everything is rushed and, well, corny. The mafia plot is suspended fully in the air by pure disbelief, and all of it together just had me wanting to skip through the dialogue to see the next 'scene'. That's always when I check out of a game.

Believe it or not, I DO want my smut to have a good story.

I've been playing this one since chapter 10 or so and I have to say this is one of my more enjoyable VNs.

Animations are absolutely on par with some of the newer VNs and it's extremely smooth to watch. Even the story isn't half bad. Very worthy of the high score it's been getting. However, as with everything it's got some flaws...minor, but noticable to me.

The faces of the females are way too similar. They all look good and the renders are fantastic but Nora and Susan are practically the same face with different hair and body. Lydia looks like a teenage Eva. Even Julia and Rebecca have similar facial features as some of the others. It almost seems to me that the Dev bought 1 or 2 different faces and tweaked each one to make it JUST different enough....I seen so many other VNs with women that are each unique that it kind of makes it easy enough to spot similar faces and it boggles me a little when all their males characters are so diverse.

Also, not too major if you're into it but My God.......SO......MANY.....ASS......Shots. Like I said, I like Asses but I like faces and titties and pussies and legs and hair and other things too. And I also mean during sex scenes. We get it, you like asses. This VN has Numerous sex scenes, 9 out of every 10 is an ass shot from behind and nothing else. Throw some diversity in there. we get small tidbits of titties and faces here and there and they've improved some in the later game but.....Geez, my kingdom for some frontal or overhead shots. If this was a Porn Movie, i'd call the director for some BS on the direction of some his shots.....

Other than those small gripes this is still a game to really check out asnd I hope the Dev isn't done making more of these VNs

Wow, I'm really enjoying Away from Home ! The story has me hooked, especially because the characters are so interesting. All the girls are definitely standouts, they are gorgeous.

The visuals are also impressive. The character models are beautiful, and the environments are well-designed. The animation is smooth and adds to the overall experience.

Overall, this is a fantastic game! It easily gets a 10 out of 10 from me haha. The characters are engaging, the story is interesting, and the visuals are top-notch. Definitely worth checking out!
