I totally agree with your analysis. I also thought that the motive might be related to harming her pet. The way Elly behaves and the subtle clues you mentioned do point towards a darker side of her personality, possibly even extending to her actions towards animals. It makes sense, especially considering the context and her apparent disdain for "cheaters," which could be tied back to a deeper, more personal vendetta, perhaps even stemming from a childhood promise, as you suggested. It's a chilling thought that she could be hiding such intentions in plain sight.
I suspect Elly's disdain for cheaters is due to infidelity among the MC's and Elly's parents that was discovered at the cabin. There are flashback scenes that suggest this if you do the non-lewd hypnosis route with the therapist.

I also thought it was Elly. I still think there is a chance but I am leaning whatever happened it was MC who did it. Also, I think MC having memory lapses so he may have done something to one of the twins and not even remember it. Elly being the culprit maybe red herring and it was MC all along.
For Ashley part, I always though that it was weird Ashley did not talked about her with MC. She mentions here and there but they even have same classes so, at least she should have asked did you see Elly to MC? Btw, is not Elly short of Danielle? Did she change her name?

As far as I am aware, Paloma is the only femdom character, and she's 100% avoidable. Just don't match her on the app, and turn down her advances when you meet her later on.

No, she just uses a shortened version of it, and every time she introduces herself, she uses the a phrasing like "Call me Elly", while also noting that what seems to be her last name of Lennon is actually her middle name. Elly is a pretty uncommon nickname for Danielle. Most Danielles shorten to either Danny or Elle. As I said, I thought it was very odd that Ashley never asked or said anything to MC about Elly, aside from off-handed comments where she still used "Danielle" to refer to her. Ashley follows MC's Photogram, so unless you took one of the party routes that avoids Elly entirely, Ashley should have seen that you photographed Elly. I may also be missing some information. I'm only on the routes for Ashley, Elly, Natalie, and Mai, since all the other girls are way too slutty for my tastes. If any of the other girls' routes give more evidence/information, then I'd have missed it.

I have a feeling whoever stole the hoodie is the same person that kept breaking into the dorm room, and very likely could also be the kidnapper. I feel like that hoodie is going to play an important role in the future, perhaps as planted evidence against MC, or MC will find the hoodie and cause him to suspect whoever took it.
I really like the mystery of this game, just wish it had more than 4 girls that don't hump everything that moves. Still at least there are some decent girls, and the story is fascinating.

I played all the routes as much as possible, I don't think I've missed any but it's possible.
I thought it was like Danielle > Elle > Elly but maybe I am wrong. Photogram works a little different though, if you are tagged to a photo you see that in your feed. So even if it's slim, there is a possibility that Ashley have not seen Elly&MC photos. In any case, I definitely agree with you it's extremely weird she never questioned MC about Elly.
Btw, dad seemed genuinely wanted to reconnect with MC but once MC asked about the cabin, he risked the only reconnection opportunity. Also MC said his father loved nature and the cabin but stopped taking MC there after awhile but it was not a reason not going there without MC but as we know the cabin in rundown state so dad stopped going there altogether. Which indicates whatever happened there, it must be huge. Because it gave MC a trauma, possible reason for Ashley and Elly moved away, possible reason for MC's parents divorce, the reason they separated MC and Danielle the inseparable duo, also they avoid the topic at all cost.

Oh yeah, I fully agree with that as well. That sounds very plausible, and it feels kind of like Ashley doesn't actually ever interact with Elly. At least, we never see it on screen, no clue what happens in the background. It's quite possible they don't get along and Elly hates her own mom, or perhaps your dad or both, for cheating and catching them cheating at the cabin.
