OK, I tried starting over, and was going fine, up until I was getting to the stealth 2 part, then it started sending this error message again every time I hit the hint button. And hitting Ignore only put me in a loop of having to pick outfits.

...and why would the mods do that?
The downloader is Renpy approved solution

But it could download some trojan code... Just like any android .apk could contain the same code.
The difference is the mods can scan apk to find (primitive) trojans, but downloader target can be changed anytime.
Of course a trojan can be made more advanced and obfuscated, so if one is really paranoid, he should not trust scanners (same trash as 20 years ago, can false alert just in case, but miss a simplest custom unpacker) and learn to use sandboxes, permissions and firewalls.

I've never seen the error
"AttributeError: 'NoneType' object has no attribute 'multiple'". What version are you using? pc, mac or android? Maybe try the download from my substar, all though they should be the same unless the mod changed a little something on the upload process
I have the same problem

Nope, Steam said:

"Hello,

After review, we will not be able to ship your game 30 Year Old Virgin on Steam. While we strive to ship most titles submitted to us, we found that this title features themes, imagery or descriptions that we won’t distribute.

Regardless of a developer's intentions with their product, we will not distribute content that appears, in our judgment, to depict sexual conduct involving a minor.

While every product submitted is unique, if your product features this representation—even in a subtle way that could be defined as a "grey area"—it will be rejected by Steam.

For instance, setting your game in a high-school but declaring your characters are of legal age would fall into that category and be banned.

This app has been banned and cannot be reused. Re-submissions of this app, even with modifications, will not be accepted.

Steam Support
Mary"

Yet you can download Koikatsu right now from Steam itself, a game with the premise that you are in a high school setting fucking students.

I filed an 'appeal' but Steam responded "Trollolol, we aint reading that shit."
The irony is, I just saw this on the top of their "new and trending" list.

Exactly, in my appeal email I took a few minutes looking at the Steam nsfw list and listed 6 examples that were objectively worse than my game.

Just my normal luck, everyone else gets to do things except someone points at me and says 'not you.'. It is what it is. I was just going to use steam as an advertising platform, not really sure how much a difference it would have made.

Not my first time seeing ppl getting kicked off platforms. Probably it has nothing to do with your game at all. Sometimes user's attitude pissed off the entire company. As a bird of the same feather, being right and on-point on the double-standards did not appeal to the platform owner, especially I exposed him in public MULTIPLE TIMES; instead, being too accurate and an advocate who ceaselessly opens fire and criticizes a platform for its lack of management and morally controversial policies every single week, I got the kick too. That's my story short.

So, ask not what you can do for the market/ppl, ask what you did to the platform owner and its workers. Obviously I was helping them in my case, but adding tons of workloads, haha, yeah, one of the mods who works for them leaked me the tip, now I see things VERY DIFFERENTLY.

In your case, your product got removed. So, maybe use a different one like GoG? To be frank, of all those game selling platforms, GoG is probably the last one that isn't aiming to profit from gamers and developers, as a developer yourself, why not join the good side that has your back? Why would you want to join the evil forces of Steam if they choose to compel you out of their place like an exorcist?
(Just in case, have you pissed off anyone lately? Could be someone telling them about your game, if they are genuinely targeting your game only. I have seen shit like that before...)

Just a passerby seeing your rapidfire profile responses and decided to get into THE RABBIT HOLE. Oh boy, I am digging a grave for myself XD

OK, so 0.33DV had its problems, however, 0.34DV does not, in fact just finished getting caught up with the Dev on that release and didn't run into any problems at all. Considering Black Star Games posted this on my profile, hope they don't mind, as this would clear up the problems the previous release had. So putting this on the front post, it would be the best move going forward until whenever 0.35DV comes out.

I've certainly heard of GoG but never knew they were cool with nsfw games. I could look into it and try to add it there.

Honestly, there are very few criticisms I get here that are relevant much less useful. If you read them: its all I hate ntr, I hate sandbox, I hate loony toon cat violence, ect. Its like, if you dont like hamburgers, dont go to the hamburger restaurant and complain you dont like hamburgers.

You might be in a NSFW platform here, but 69% of the possible users are mentally children. You are not going to get anything useful unless the guy suggesting you applicable advice is an adult with a real gamer mentality.

Guess 30 and 40 yrs old virgins are all parodied by now. So the next one will be 50 yrs old virgin XD

BTW, they have tons of NSFW games on GoG, much more than I expected. Don't expect me to help on suggesting anything good. VN means you are in total control on the narrative and pretty much leaving no choice for the audience. You have all the shots and calls on the whole project, why would you need any suggestions from the beginning? The one thing I did remind developers in one of my older posts: Understand the genre you are making and understand its gameplay. VN was never meant to be a game for the audience. If you are a 1-man team solo writing the whole script, don't go nuclear and expect yourself to be able to complete a Lord of the Ring level of narrative. 99% of the narratives created throughout history are subpar.

At the very least, just work hard on 3D animations, better VOs/voice effects at your own budget range. I recall telling a developer not to overshoot their budget for 2D animations in a JRPG, they did and they have to abandon the project. Know your genre, set realistic and vital goals that are cores for the genre, within budget.
(Not my first time nailing the coffins on developers, when I start ignoring/unwatch their projects, I am pretty sure another one bites the dust)

Ignore 99% of the users' reviews & posts, only read and listen to those who genuinely comprehend the depths of game making and game playing. You can only be a good teacher when you can master both learning and teaching.

Were you still able to do the lap lesson event with Lofi?

Edit: I was able to find the error. It looks to be only an error with the quest log notating the event, not the event it self. So it should still be playable just wont display correctly on the quest log. Its fixed for next version.
