Edit: Ah, I see, there's a path out of the room at the bottom center of the screen.
Not easy in this game to tell the difference between walkways and walls.
Also, why the verification after "brainwashing -47" . . . . Frustrating puzzle that I can't solve.
Are we supposed to use up and down and sideways arrows on a keyboard???
