So, a long while back I decided to make a game 2d using my super high coding knowledge combined with zero skills in drawing and made a post called "Would you fap to this?" asking people if they found the drawing I made outlining a 3d scene I created in daz studio...
Long story short I archived the project because I could make my workflow work. Fastfoward to February 2024: I got myself a wacom and started practicing around two times a week with feedback from a friend I met on this beautiful community...

Now, since November I'm practicing more and more, getting these amazing results that I thought I'd take a lot longer to get. So much so that I started posing them on

there's been tons of cult classic comics drawn with much worse skills than this, and people love and even prefer them over sleek non-liefeld superhero comics. like I can easily imagine these being panels from some autobiographical indie comic about growing up in a fucked up family. you can tell any story you like with this style, and whether people fap to it or not will depend on the situations you write rather than your line quality.

one tiny tip: on the first drawing, watch out for those lines between foreground and background objects accidentally coinciding, it makes the image confusing to read. the edge of that round mat and her ass. always, always, always move or rotate one of them so that they don't match anymore.

Thanks! I also believe, like you and others have implied, that the content of the game is more important than the looks. But it took practice to get to this "ok" point, and comments like this one really help me put all the work I put in into perspective and simply make my day!

Hello! I stumbled across this post from a shameless name search and I saw that my game was mentioned.

Four years ago, I was basically a failed musician with no ability to draw or program. I bought a Wacom Intuos drawing tablet one day and I have been drawing ever since and have parlayed that into a game that some people like and some people don't. That's life. My approach to game-making is that if you have A+ dialogue people will forgive C+ art, and that seems to be the case.

Most people are not art critics. The 10% that are will gripe about this and that, but nobody will listen to them. The moment your artwork is housed in the context of a game, I believe people are much more forgiving, especially if you can write a good story that is enhanced by the artwork.

Wow! receiving this comment from someone like you is unbelievable for me! I love you game, especially how you write your scenes with the mom. I saw you recently posted a new update with some Brook content that I wanted to see for so long, I like the relationship she has with the MC. As soon as I have time I'll play it!

Also, you can bet my game will have that "taboo" element as well. As soon as I release it you'll be one of the first to know!

Other than that, soften the chins maybe. The bottom one is the hottest, but both the black & white one's eye shape's are the most attracting. Eyes are extremely important to me for some reason; color (love brown & hazel eyes), size, spacing, whether they have eyeliner etc.

You're not a bad artist -- I can tell you understand how to add depth with shadows/light/shading. If I'm being honest though, it's very cartoon-y, for my tastes. But I'm just one person who's very picky. Best advice I can give is to study a bunch of different female forms and draw them on paper as different short exercises. Once you have the form down the skies the limit, but I suggest softer chins, bigger eyes and bigger butts. ;3

Objectively, brown & hazel eyes are the superior iris color, & larger eyes 9/10 will make a female more desirable from what I have noticed on how women do their makeup.
