we may need a separate category for ai

The tag feature is the perfect resolution.
na not perfect. how often do u use LU? and how would u say u use it?

This is a YOU problem.
yeah i just said that:
My problem, if everyone disagrees
with the replies i'm getting, i'll settle with this. although, there's a certain demographic, similar to reddit, where the users that browse new threads, just love to be cold cuts

100 sub forums, one for each tag.
stop with the extreme examples dude, that's never gonna happen - it's a weak hypothetical. every time a wind blows, do u fear a hurricane will come?
That bloats the database. That makes the site more convoluted and less user friendly.
i disagree. the way it is nw is bloated and less user friendly, hanging by a manual tag system u need to constantly adjust, this is not a site like gelbooru where it functions on just tags. it would b organised with a little more partition since AI is not an ordinary tag.

one thing i would note is. this issue could be paralleled with JRPGs. and i find myself slightly softer on that if u were to switch it with AI. a category in itself would still be great since it's a thing of itself. buuut maybe i use LU significantly different from others

stop with the extreme examples dude,
It's not extreme. You ask for one sub forum, others will ask for others. This will happen over and over. Yes, at some point enough would be enough.... But no, this is not extreme. It's making a point that your request is ridiculous and has no basis in forum and database deployments, as well as usability.

It doesn't matter how often I use it. I know HOW to use it by using the filters. I also know how to bookmark the LU with certain filters already applied so that I wouldnt need to reenter the same filters.

I will say that I seem to be using it more often collecting data when people make uninformed claims without first doing the research themselves, simply them using their own biases to form false observations.
there's a certain demographic
There may be, but it is obviously so small that catering to their whims is not a manageable prospect for the site, as a whole.
i disagree. the way it is nw is bloated and less user friendly
How much database management experience do you have? Do you know how they are built, how relationships work, how flags and indices work? Do you have any experience managing a forum interface?

Before you ask - 20 years. I'm quite familiar with database administration with millions of records and multiple relationships.
with the replies i'm getting, i'll settle with this.
Great!

it's extreme because u are projecting something that won't happen, ever.
Oh no people are gonna request more of this very useful feature? The humanity.

And it's NOT a request, that's why i posted it in Discussion. Usability is crucial here, hence having a discussion to see what heads have to say - it would be a waste of effort if it wasn't a common issue.

It doesn't matter how often I use it. I know HOW to use it by using the filters.

it does matter because u can't make some and not use it/be a part of it and expect your reality to be like those who are using it.
Your 20yrs doesn't exclude u from new ways of operating a system though right? I get the powers-that-be made it to be used a certain way, but sometimes people create new ways out of pre-existing tools and so propose change. I just hope you aren't of this elite mindset that aims to shut down different user experiences to yours.
And i acknowledge the "if it ain't broke don't fix it" approach.
Despite all the shitty attitudes on the discussion here, I'm coming out here with a changed perspective which could mean, my proposed issue isn't one, as much, anymore

I also know how to bookmark the LU with certain filters already applied so that I wouldnt need to reenter the same filters.
Especially if users give unique ways to circumvent. it's better than just using the tag filter every time i open this site, if it's really an issue for me.

side question, why do u pride urself on this? Screenshot 2025-03-16 105901.png . i'm assuming it's custom, i.e. ur choice

that's okay if you think that
It's also wild that your reasoning, when it was pointed out that the list is easily filterable is, 'regular people don't do that.' Just out of curiosity, how long was the bus you rode to school?

Personally, I think that we had better start liking AI generated stuff, because considering the quality and ease that things can be generated, now including photo realistic video, I think that down the line, the games that aren't AI are going to be the outlier.

Things like or are only going to get better.

Not for quite a while. Full realistic AI games are the most limited of all. Steam doesn't allow realistic AI at all for instance. Your point stands, of course, because unrealistic AI will only get better and better as well.

holy shit that's kinda scary haha. this: "I think that down the line, the games that aren't AI are going to be the outlier." rings most tru. i'm on the fence with AI because of that. handcraft will always be a thing. but it's the new normal that surprises me.

Also, there's already a whole site dedicated to ai vids that rule34video split off to showcase:

To say nothing of where the treasures are, but you need to register an account to see the the nsfw examples:
