It just comes across as too clean, too... sterile of an experience this way.

I'm fairly sure the yes/no choice was about raceplay talk specifically. If you say yes, Amelia will make Brandon being black part of her dirty talk. If no, she won't mention it.
Though it would be pretty funny if you said no and she spontaneously found a new trainer named 'Brendan' who is literally the exact same guy but white. Or maybe just make Brandon white without explanation and have the hubby go schizo for a moment.

The only pipe dream wish I have for this game is for someone, maybe Brandon maybe someone else, to eventually go too far and for Amelia to take exception to it.
When Geist was falling over himself to apologize and she said something to the effect of she'll cut his tongue out if he says one more word, I want to see more of that Amelia. That Geist listened, I saw it as half he respected her enough to do so, half he knew she absolutely would cut his tongue out--mafia princess and all.
With how the BJ played out, I get the impression this won't be happening--that Brandon is how the writers intend to show a more submissive Amelia. Yet with this situation, and with Brandon being the first guy involved who isn't aware of hubby's kink, I can absolutely see B disrespecting hubby in some way. And from what I remember from the hotel scene, I can't see Amelia playing along with any genuine disrespect for the sake of the kink.
So personally, I'm okay with him being kind of a dick because it leaves my pipe dream a very small chance of playing out instead of killing it outright.

What bothered me about the scene prior to bj was MC lack of concern of Amelia's wellbeing. His mind is whirlwind of speculation but when he walks into situation where his wife is partially undressed, saying no and making face like this:
He just thinks it's hot. It should trigger alarm bells even little bit and make him think she could be in distress. I hoped that would be addressed outside the gym but it wasn't.
Scene outside the gym was also bit bizarre. No teasing from Amelia about MC peeking and instead it was weird reassurance scene like this was first time she gave blowjob to somebody else.

Funny you say that, don't remember the beginning of the game before they became a couple wasn't there a incident similar to this and he intervened. Ex. Love and lust has a scene where husband was super cuck but when he noticed something wasn't right he admitted it turned him on but his wifes well being came before his desire. I would have liked that to happen. Trainer attitude can cause future problems because behavior has been accepted, Geist might end up showing up if shit goes to far.
These sex offender behaviors are really being glossed over in these last two updates. As I was reading them I couldn't help but picture the scenes in my head, and they just make no sense if you take them seriously. I've been to an open floor gym like the game describes. I can't imagine being there and I see a trainer touching a woman, much less taking pics of her openly, grabbing her tits, getting hard, and pressing his dick on her. That's insane. He would get reported so fast. Also, it's not like the other guys are distracted and blind to what's around them - the MC gets approached by a dude who was watching him the whole time and came to give him tips about his form. People can see what's happening. Yet somehow they don't see this creep harassing women. And then the locker room scene is extra bad. Like really? Anyone that's coming to or from the lockers would immediately run into him trying to assault her.
There's this general air in the writing that this isn't meant to be a big deal, that it's just the characters getting a little sexy with each other, and that's why the MC doesn't react with concern for Amelia. But I feel like any reasonable person would absolutely see this as much more serious, and would be concerned for their wife in that situation.

To be fair, for last update specifically we only saw what happen in the gym itself through Amelia's recollection while they were reclaiming. It's entirely possible she was playing it up for effect.
Though I do agree that for this update, the locker room was a bit odd. Being aroused is one thing, but being giddy seems off. If he was obviously concerned but obviously turned on, then Amelia sees this and plays along as she already does, I think the scene would work fine.
For her to just see outright joy on the husband's face, I think they may have been leaning too far into the 'she needs reassurance' perspective.

That exactly why I liked Amelia in the beginning, she was this bad kick ass mafia girl, anyone messes with her might lose a body part, also when Geist was so forceful on her, the mc also had more balls to tell off Geist for going to far. And up to the teacher conference that was about the same, the whole Jack scene was pretty well done. With Brandon though, Amelia looked like a weak girl that need a strong man to protect her and the mc only gotten hot seeing his gf being so forcefully handled why earlier with Geist he disliked it. But somehow I fear this dev kinda like this kind of forceful handling on women.
True. Geist was just a dick. There’s a difference between some humiliation (if you chose that path) and just being an asshole. It’s probably why no one liked Geist.
Brandon did talk some shit but it was more humiliation based that Ame also played on. A submissive Ame was a nice twist that I hope we see more of

Given what he does in the locker room, it seems entirely plausible that everything she said was true.
For people who might still not see the issue here, imagine that the MC hadn't stumbled on them in the locker rooms. What would've happened? Brandon seemed intent on having his way with her, even with her saying she wanted him to stop, so she was going to end up raped, or she was going to break free and escape, and likely have been traumatized by the situation. Also, she might've also been found by someone else and suffer further humiliation - oh look, there's the woman that was fucking Brandon in the lockers. This is pretty bad, man. I don't know that you could redeem the situation with a few extra lines.
I think the locker room was a bad setting.
But I’m sure everyone can make up their own head canon about what happened.

I've been thinking, and the only way that I think this could maybe be redeemed for me is with some sort of reverse blackmail. Bust Brandon when he's with Amelia in the lockers, and threaten to expose him. Now, you've got him under your thumb. He has to do what you tell him, or he's fucked. It doesn't overwrite him being a sex offender, but it establishes that the MC does care about Amelia's safety and not just getting his rocks off, stops this nasty almost rape plot, and passifies this loose cannon character. And then you can just order him to cooperate in the NTS plays for you two.
I just wish this situation was avoided altogether. Playing with oblivious bulls, who think they're actually doing something illicit and making a married woman cheat, just attracts the worst types of characters. Feels like too much drama for a game that's trying to avoid drama.
I'm sure you wrong there, she wouldn't have done it, if it wasn't for her hubbies kink, she was clearly bothered by it, why she settled with a bj, but that wasn't what Brandon wanted, he wanted to fuck her right there. This setting for me kinda ruined the game, it was alot better before.
