Yes I'm the kind of 'freeloader' some say, anyway, I've been following this thread for years now and wanted to at least make a thank you note. Whether it's for the discussion in general, the dramas, the drunken creators who come to express themselves or all the requests for assets, I've always enjoyed reading you at night.
I have not been able to share with you because I remain, like many I think, hidden, but this community has recently made me want to take the plunge, unfortunately my computer is a bit slow and I'm not yet comfortable with creating a scene and using plugins.
Unfortunately this thread is closing its doors, apparently keeping this thread for discussion / sharing etc can't coexist with the new asset thread, I think it's a shame.
I hope that the opening of a thread similar to this one will come, otherwise I wish you all a good journey and I thank you again for the hours spent on this thread and on VaM thanks to you.

A "freeloader" talking about other freeloaders. That's how sharing pirated stuff works, few will share and the others will take/request stuff but it's not all about sharing - it's the discussions, helping with technical stuff, troubleshooting, ideas and such.
The people who are actually sharing things don't seem to agree with your opinion. You already posted this statement a couple of times but I've never seen you contributing new content outside of reposting stuff that you downloaded from others.

Will shall see if this solution will work after the closing of this thread, because as of now, most people come to this forum because of this thread. There are too many steps to do just to share one small thing instead of 1-2 clicks.
Personally, I think most people will check this site from time to time and eventually will just leave and seek for other places (like the inevitable discord server that will be open at some point).
