RPGM - Completed - The Genesis Order [v1.05] [NLT Media]

Often beautiful to look at and can be played by averagely intelligent player without difficulty. Variety of age, race, size, shape and temperament with toon girl and woman, so one or more most likely appeal whatever your taste. Story is shallow and The Genesis Order is basically a game to assist the sexually frustrated to jerk off to animated porn. If that is your jam this game will not disappoint. Dependable update every 2 weeks. Many seem to like game a lot, many not so much, but the best thing to do is to acquire, install and try out the game before deciding how much or little you enjoy it. A truly easy game to play, just one-handed point and click, well within the reach of any and all players.

I didn't play their first game, so my rating is mainly content, gameplay, and story based.

Gameplay is what you'd expect from RPG maker games, and I liked the feature implementation for going faster and autosave.

The Story unfortunately lacks quite a lot. At least for me, It wasn't interesting enough to keep me motivated. At some point it gets plain boring, and you kinda expect what happens next. I liked the character design, but not the characters itself. They weren't rememberable, probably due to the raw story.

The adult content in this game lacks dynamic and variations. It wasn't really my cup of tea.

Overall, that's my rating based on my opinion. Their first game is apparently better, so I'll give that a shot next.

NLT continues being the most consistent dev when it comes to adult VNs.
The quality of NLT games seem to improve with each game and The Genesis Order is no exception.
I'm honestly enjoying this more than ToN thus far. I'm so glad NLT has returned to the more cult-like and taboo themes, similar to Lust Epidemic. Obviously this type of stuff comes down to preference, but imo ToN started having a bit too many weird gangbang scenes near its end.
The cast of Genesis Order also seems great thus far so i'm really looking forward to how things go down in the future updates.
I do have to say the MC is a bit "church boyish". Like he acts like he has never seen boobs before and stuff like that, but I hope he matures later on and doesn't act so overly innocent.
Some people complain about the gameplay, but honestly I'm glad this isn't yet another choose your dialogue VN, but instead focuses more on puzzles and whatnot.

Overall, I'm excited for the future of this game and will keep supporting NLT.

Taking all the lessons learned from LE and TON and updating it. Better animations, less 'grind' and a lot of 'quality of life' improvements like automatically handing over quest items instead of fishing them out of your inventory

NLT get better with each game, the renders are good quality with plenty of animations. The gameplay is a little off-putting at first but you quickly get used to it and it doesn't hinder the game. Those looking for differing paths will be disappointed, but those who like to see all the material in their first run should really enjoy it. Where to go next isn't always obvious, but there is an in game hint system when you need help finding the next item or scene. Main character can be a bit oblivious and weak, but this is a porn game and that's the standard for the industry so it holds up well if you aren't expecting something radically different than a porn game. overall play is fast and there won't be a long wait between lewd scenes though as it progresses there should be plenty of material to take up some time (before it's finished updates come out 2 times per month, so no long waits before you can proceed at least a little in the story).

Looks like another top tier effort from NLT. Yes its not perfect but it deserves it place amongst the other top games (they all have flaws too).

Plus points
Animation is excellent and has a higher rate of updates than almost all other games here.

Its got some gameplay while simple does make it stand out from other VNs.

Weakness
Looks like it will be very similar to previous NLT games but with slightly better graphics.

IMO this has been voted down too much for lacking incest. Yes that a nice taboo but its already been done to death so im not missing it that much.

There is really not much bad to say about this game, except for that there is not too much good to say about it either. The gameplay by nowadays standards is relatively outdated and the grind by comparison to what computer games can provide with regard to entertainment is not really worth the time. The "rewards" are not worth it either, because all sex scenes are completely basic and vanilla. 8 different women, but 8 times the same basic sex. The only good thing about devs staying completely vanilla is that they at least spare us from NTR as well, so I guess we can be thankful for that. The only remaining kink driving this game comes by patch.

While I was grinding ToN relatively thoroughly, this time I play every episode with a walkthrough video running simultaneously and simply cheat out the money and the keys I need. Such a relief.

I guess you can't really blame the dev team because they simply sticked to what was working until now and why would you change a running system? Ultimately people will see that it's just a cash grab with basically the same stuff repeating over and over again, but it will take quite some time. I'm not excited about this game anymore at all, and I wish devs would go back to good old VN with clear "family content" focus, or come up with at least some new and refreshing type of gameplay, if they are too scared to try some new kinks.

I think this game is the most underrated on the entire site, probably due to the fact that reviewers keep expecting A) incest and B) the same leap of quality that NLT has delivered previously. When this does not materialize, they are disappointed and give bad ratings, despite the game objectivly being one of the best on the site.

• No choices and no way to affect the story. Acceptable though, as this is an actual game, rather than a "choose your own story" visual novel like most other porn games.
  
  
• Shallow characters and very little relationshipbuilding. However, once more, not really the point of the game.
  
  
• Women fly to the MC:s cock. This can also be excused by the fact that the game isn't about relationship building, but rather about solving puzzles and being rewarded with sex scenes. However, see below.
  
  
• Tone not quite right. This is my only major gripe. In Lust epidemic the MC was an amoral and horny douche with a transactional view of sex and a penchant for incest. In The Treasure of Nadia, the MC was more of a good guy, still as horny but kind of goofy and not out to corrupt every woman in his vincinity.
  
  Lust Epidemic had a dark tone that fitted the MC and his action. The Treasure of Nadia had a sillier tone, which worked well with the MC of that game. The Genesis Order seem to go for a more realistic vibe, but the MC is once more a hero, and this time not even that horny. Where previous MC:s sought out sex, the MC of The Genesis Order kind of stumble upon it instead. This silly setup for a game that doesn't really want to be silly doesn't work well and it exacerbates the "women flying to the MC:s cock" con.
  
  I think it's a good thing that NLT has choosen once more to go for a darker and more realistic setting, as silliness dectract somewhat from the eroticism of a game, especially from serious and taboo fetishes such as incest (incest shouldn't be frivolous, if it is, you're doing it wrong). But that also means that the game can't get away with the same unrealistic story and development as it could have, had the game been of the silly variety (as The Treasure of Nadia). This means that we need an explanation for all the sex and why all these beautiful women fall for the MC at the drop of a pin. It also means its characters need more depth and the relationships could benifit from being fleshed out.
  
  However, especially the latter could clash with the point and click-adventure type of game that all of NLT:s titles are. Personally, I think the recipie from Lust Epidemic actually worked best, as a creepy douche who is willing to do anything for sex and not beneath tricking, bartering or possible even fooling or blackmailing his potential Li:s works well with a darker and more realistic setting, while explaining all the casual sex that the MC is having left and right. Though I guess more people like to play the hero, so maybe that's just me. Regardless, there needs to be an explanation for all the sex, if the game want's to be taken seriously/realisticly.

For starters, this game is in top 5% on this site in terms of quality and consistency. So it's inevitably good and probably worth checking.
Being picky though, I can't say I like it. If transition from Lust Epidemic and Treasure of Nadia was huge, this game feels more like a reskin of the latter. Which is not bad thing in itself, because ToN was objectively good game. However, it feels a bit repetitive tome. It's the same harem with same lust-infused same-looking girls. I like the tone and style of the game a bit more, but on the other side tropical island was more suited for light adventure, and this murky town made the game feels like a cheap TV cop procedural.
Overall, if you loved the Treaure of Nadia, you probably already played it. If not - I suggest start there or even earlier with Lust Epidemic. Have fun!

I find myself skipping story so much now with all the games on this site. TGO and the other games in NLT saga keep me engaged.

Sex scenes are good. I like the continuing character scenes from the other games and the models differ enough to make it interesting.

I expected more realistic game this time, but that is just my taste. I dont like so much this kind of story, sci fi, etc... Graphics are amazing like always ,animations perfect. Story like i said, i dont like this theme so much...but, i can play it . I hope he will make some realistic game story after this one,with this kind of animations and graphics. My opinion is that players need more be like real life story, i am for sure one of them. Good job for now,but four stars from me just because of the story. Advice ...well. Create some cuddling family story with neighbors ,close and far relatives . Fairy tails are just not my thing.

Pretty disappointing.They pull the exact same plot but just from different characters.Alot of Slutty adventurous girls as nothing more than lump of meat and with ugly MC that nothing more than Unbelievable Huge dick walker.It look way too unrealistic and weird.The game also quite grindy and its very necessary for you to have a walkthrough unless you want to spent hours going around the maze searching items and solve puzzle.Some girls look off and bad design.As for myself,I'm gonna drop it and search other better game.Gudluck

A lot better than Treasure of Nadia because the MC doesn't seem like a total wimp. So far so good with the sex scenes, but please keep the orgies to a minimum. I think one on one builds better connections and leads to better development of the characters. I actually skipped half of the scenes of ToN since the scenes became boring when there was basically no intimacy and every girl was just there like a lump of meat for the MC. It would be cool if there were exclusive endings for particular girls at the end. Harem endings are too boring IMO.

Update: NLT repeated the same formula from ToN. Just a fuckfest for the later half of the game. The story is a boring mess that tries to become some grandiose thing since the 1st game, but no, unless the writer changes the 4th game will probably be as trash. Can't complain much more since I play it for free.

Played it till update V.14022 which means I have completed 14% of the story, The story is pretty boring nothing new in this department and it seems like NLT is forcing those boring mysteries in this game also. Characters side we have our usual cartoony beta white MC who wants to fuck whole universe with a unbelievable large dick and almost all side characters don't have depth in their character but who plays these games for story? so lets talk about sex scenes and female models, at its current stage it doesn't have many sex scenes but those which are available are good except anal scenes(I think NLT needs to fix the asshole morphs they look very ugly during penetration) and about female models, i would say they are just OK considering the target audience fetish. It would be great if NLT introduces more genre like Double penetration, orgy or sharing to the game cuz I really bored from this harem genre.

This is quite a disappointment for a game from NLT. Coming in expecting good art, and an open world RPGM, and I was welcomed with a shit tons of cutscences, forced scenes that I can't skip.

Played for 1h45 mins and the progess is still at 0%, no thing to do just mindlessle clicking the space button like its any other VN, in fact, you don't even get to make a choice.

The scenes are extra annoying when it plays you can't just skip or save like normal RPGM games.

The plus side is this game looks quite alright with the enhanced visuals mod and the voice acting is quite nice.

Overall, it feels very restricted playing this game, no choice, no skipping, forced scenes, and still have to press the space bar button. This game is at the awkward zone of being between or VN, a game, and a movie. So far it doesn't work.

There's just so much good about what NLT does (the renders, the fully fleshed out map, the consistent updates, the overall production value) that it's super disappointing to watch this game start to go down the same exact path LE and TON did instead of trying something new.

In regards to our MC/the plot, it's the same shit again - we're yet again trying to get to the bottom of a not-too-gripping mystery while following the same slow buildup to fucking every woman/permutation of women with our obnoxiously large dick - all while continuing to have the personality of a wet blanket and the IQ of a doorknob.

Once again, the women are limited to the same two body types as the last game. It's super tired at this point and I really wish there was some variation in the dimensions and facial structure of the models for a change, instead of most of the characters following the same 'very busty MILF' template yet again. Not every woman needs to be cartoonishly curvy with giant tits, nor do they need to squirt during every sexual encounter, and boy, it'd be nice to have some actual diversity.

I'll keep playing because, like I said, there's plenty of stuff NLT does better than anyone else - but we're still scratching the surface of what this dev could accomplish here, and that's really disappointing.

Already loving this in its current/early state. I don't quite understand all the negative/mediocre reviews tbh, it's a continuation of NLTs RPGM formula. So I guess if you hated ToN for some reason, don't expect this to be a completely different game.

Models are absolutely gorgeous and I've already seen some familiar faces. Saw some new puzzles/minigames and a rework of the crafting system. Lewd scenes are amazing as expected. Keep up the good work.

This game is a continuation of the previous game by the same team, but it seems that the progression of graphics and animations in Treasure of Nadia has slowed down or is of lower quality. I hope the developers invest more time in improving these aspects.

Great game, NLT makes incredible models. %90 of people are playing this game for free, so it's incredible to get such a high quality game at such a rapid pace. People who complain about the rate of corruption don't understand the story or are choosing to ignore the narrative.

Seems to be the same quality as Treasure of Nadia.
High quality renders with models you havent seen in 20 other games before and regular content updates that put others devs yearly updates to shame.
Really looking forward to how the story will evolve.
Only minor gripe I have is that the h-scenes kinda come at you fast without much progression so the scene sometimes dont really feel that special because it was kinda too easy to seduce some characters, but I know thats something a lot of people might be looking for.
I personally value writing and a natural feeling story over an h-scene everytime you talk with someone in game.
