Hey guys, I just met this furry girl here, before this, I completed 36/36 of Dragon Nebula and 103/104 of Hydra Nebula, it was horrible, a real pain in the ass, now I'm bombarded with 96 more anomalies in Kraken Nebula, do I really need to do this to progress in the game? I just want to fuck all the girls, get the demi to max level because apparently it unlocks something and also unlock all the clothes, do I really need to do this damn grind to unlock this? Is there any way to use some cheat to make it easier? I think a save file right at this point in the story would be cool, without having completed the main quest, but then I don't know if it's possible.

I managed to get everyone to max level whilst only doing around two thirds of the galaxy. Specifically I belief I completed two Nebula's and three quarters of another. So in short no you don't need to do everything, still a decent amount though. As for the main story, as far as I know you could literally do every mission without touching a side mission if you wanted, wouldn't recommend it but there's nothing in the code stopping you.

Dumb question that I can't seem to find the answer, although I'm sure it's here. Once all parts are downloaded, what's the next step? I extracted all the folders and all but part 1 ended up being empty. Tried extracting what was in part 1 and got an error. Am I missing something?

If you're d/ling multiple 500 meg .rar files (the usual breakpoint for piracy) you need to do one last step... select them all and merge them:

This will create a new directory with the correct installation setup - you then install the game using that directory.

So: get all files > select them all with shift+click > right click > see above > enter new directory > launch setup from in there.

And yes - this will result in issues if you don't have enough SDD space to host **all d/l files** and **actual setup directory**. Basic rule of thumb of pirating large games like this is to double the SDD space due to the merger step (and good luck getting 7.zip to not want to just merge it in a new folder in the same directory you d/l them all to).

~Weird to use a sleeper account from 2019 to ask such a basic question though. After six years, anyone pirating would know this.

~

Although, oc, check your file sizes. If you're d/ling SubVerseXX01.rar and it's not reporting a 500meg size... someone nuked your hosting file and you need a proper 500meg one.

This is basic stuff people. You'd have sunk in the days of Torrenting. Here's one that works:

Another pro-tip: don't use this site for games like this. Use a proper repack site. World of difference between a GOFILE with a max 10-15 gig RenPy VN and actual piracy.

Six year old account to ask his first question and it's "how the fuck do I pirate". Comedy gold.

Also pro-tip for Glowie Boi above: providing the information above is not illegal, nor is d/ling a partial repack for demonstration purposes with no intent of rebuilding the repository. Cause... until you hit that * function, as above posts have proven, it's not a functional model.

The more you know. Six fucking years. Jesus fucking wept.

Saves were only broken from 0.9 to 1.0. Anything post 1.0 is compatible with anything afterwards, I would be very surprised if saves get broken again.
They weren't broken, they were reset, the game is in a different form from 0.9 to 1.0. Post that has been only minor fixes and changes. So it wouldn't break anything now of course.

I think you misunderstand my words and how this stuff works, they made enough changes to the early game and progression that the old saves would likely not work with the current version therefore they're broken. That's not to say they couldn't of "fixed" them, rather they made the right decision to reset them. I also directly said that anything 1.0 and beyond works just fine with updates.

I know but broken implies it was by accident or something, and it was very much meant to happen, they told people this back in the August 2023 dev blog. So people had more than enough time to decide if they were going to keep playing or not.

Honestly I don't agree, something being broken means exactly that, doesn't work. It doesn't have to be an accident, in this case it was just a biproduct of them overhauling the progression system, anyway doesn't matter. End point is it happened, we knew it was going to happen, there's a valid reason for it happening, any complaints afterwards about it are unwarranted and unreasonable.

I haven't been here for a while and I see that there is a new version and I have 3 questions that are more follows:

1- How much space does the new version need? Why I think version 1.0 was 35 GB

2- Version 1.0 save works with the new?

3- I downloaded a save when version 1.0 came out (December) but I would like a recent save, do you know if there is one for there?

1.
Original Size: 33.9 GB
Repack Size: 23.4 GB

2. Yes

3. Search the thread for someone dropping a save file.

Again, if you're going to pirate anything over 14 gig or so, use a proper re-pack site (or, better, Torrent). GOFILE is kinda cool with the 1 shot packs this site does, but if you start to flood it with X1, X2, X3 >>> X119 of gig slices, people will start noticing and sending rude letters. Then we all lose out. So use a repack site for stuff like this, especially since it's a Steam game etc. Repack site = decent Crack (at least for Fitgirl).

Oh, and using a proper repack site means your d/ls are: a) active, b) fast and c) much much smaller. What's not to like about shaving off 10gig on your d/l?

Thanks for replying but I will use this torrent (as always) https://f95zone.to/threads/subverse-v1-02-studio-fow.77900/post-16273147

Since with Fitgirl I have always had problems when I want to install something, the last time I installed something on Fitgirl was many years ago.

No worries.

You're not the target audience for the post. Fitgirl is 100% fine these days, just very normie based. So, not much of what is here is on there, but in this case, it's better than using 10 GOFILE slices. Edge case.
