Then why do they have a 'Loli' tag on this site if it's banned.. weird
Notice how I put loli between quotes. The rules specifically say any prepubescent characters are explicitly banned, hence me saying "loli" because some people like to play around with the actual definition. The site has a loli tag for the content depicting younger looking women, but if they look like a kid then it's against the rules. Some games/content skirt the line more than others, while some outright make it obvious and get removed.

It boils down to realistic and not realistic. An obviously not human, cartoonish, or monster youngster that doesn't appear obviously as a prepubescent, but instead as an over-exaggerated replica may slide. Others will not.

Fictional or not. No room for pedo shit!
its fucking pedo content grow the hell up. Get the fuck outta here with your disgusting taste in content. The only place pedos are allowed is jail. Can't handle it ? Don't fucking tag me.
These arguments are futile. It needs to come from the top. There are tags tapping into the content you're saying there is no room for. There are many, many games which were/are actively allowed which fall into that category. So no, clearly there is some leeway.

I think you guys need to realise that the rules are there for the site's safety and no more. It's not a moral brigade. It is still fictional content, so whether you find it morally wrong or not, it is not as clearcut as you make it seem. The rules are there so outbursts such as yours are contained, without causing damage to the site.

It's definitely a moral bridge too, lolicon makes most people uncomfortable.
People on this website are not 'most people'. The overwhelming majority of content on here would probably make most people uncomfortable. That's not really a good argument.

I am not talking about people anyway, I am talking site administration. They are understandably trying to avoid content that people like OP would complain about, to protect the site from people like him, because it's simply not worth it. Their personal opinions on the content do not come into play. The moral brigade on this thread are who the rules are for.

I just think the discussion is futile. People on both sides of the discussion need to put their feelings aside and realise it. The discussion around whether cartoons should be considered legally permissible or not is a discussion that isn't really relevant here. It's not a deciding factor.

I don't care whether or not the rules are there to protect the website or not. Pedo content is for degenerates. I am aware a good portion of this website is full of pedos (hence all the butthurt ones that replied to this thread), but that won't stop me from doing what I can to get rid of it. If I had a chance to doxx any of the pedos on here I 100% would, but I don't have the energy nor the time to do that, so I leave it to the moderation/administration team to deal with them. Pedophilia is illegal pretty much everywhere in the world, so even if they weren't personally against it, it is in their best interest to at the very least remove the worst offenders. But like everything, there is no clear cut answer. The line between how a prepubescent child and a grown woman looks gets blurrier the closer together the 2 are. I'm fine with whatever the fuck people wanna jerk off to, as long as it's consensual for both parties (when involved), and it's something you can do IRL without getting in trouble (morally and legally, when applicable). Scat, vore, gore, tentacle, you name it, I'm fine with you being into that. Pedo shit isn't one of those.

Their personal opinion does come into play, if they wanted to they could fight for that content. The mods could move to another website more open minded. Everyone that comes here chooses to be here.

And discussion is always relevant, no matter how many times the admins say this isn't a democracy, given enough bemoaning and pressure, minds change, and the impossible suddenly becomes possible.

Everyone that comes here chooses to be here.
At the permission of the admins, staff, and mods.... All of whom have the ability to throttle anyone's usage, posts... Up to and including removal from the site.

People choose to come here... They can also choose to go somewhere else if they don't like the way the staff runs the site. They haven't changed their minds in nearly 8 years on this topic.

Having this conversation over and over doesn't move the chains. What it does end up doing is that the rabid believers of one side or the other usually end up getting themselves banned because they can't moderate themselves --- either posting abusive comments (to other users or staff) or posting banned content... Or both.

Best to understand is... We are in their house with their house rules. Don't like their rules and rulings? Either find another place to go - or stay, but use common sense not to tilt at windmills.

Arguing is not going to win anything for anyone on this topic.

In fact, I came across this post by searching for the keyword "rule 7".
Because I wanted to find out what games violated rule 7 then download them from other places.

there is no list of those found on this site... Partly exactly for this reason.
In fact, there are some gains. From time to time, I see other users discussing the announcement of a game being removed for violating rule 7, they are good guide.
It is much more efficient than when I go to other sites like DL find by tags.

Hebophilia and ephebophilia exist too. It's interesting that people only notice loli content when there are games with teens/barely legal characters under the disguise that they are 18+.

Yes, their personal opinion come into play. And this personal opinion is: "We want the forum to stay clean without thousands more post to delete each day, the staff to not be arrested, and our members to not have to see pictures that will haunt their nightmares for decades."

Note that for the last part, I'm not talking about 3D render or drawing. When you starts to open the gate, the flood don't take long to come, and what you'll see will haunt your life forever...
