Damn... those are really nice.

Must have been a lot of work! I think I can relate, since I have been searching for the assets myself, without much (or any) real success.

Wouldn't mind learning some of the models, hair styles and stuff you figured out, in case you're willing to share. No worries if not. Anyway: looking forward to more teasers!

Cheers!

I updated the guide I’ve shared before to include 0.4 events. I think I covered all, but if there’s something I’ve missed or there are flaws, let me know. Enjoy.
I literally skimmed through the entire thread looking for that guide. Found a reference to a file you shared, but both the link to the post in the quote, and to the attachment are currently unavailable. I'm referring to this post by Rolo:

Levian, very nice and useful work thanks.
Most of that may help a lot as some guideline ...
(...)
Any chance you shared your 0.4 pdf elsewhere and I just missed it?

Thanks!

Hope they can recreate the magic of original game. This was my first ever VN I played and I wish it came to some conclusion before getting abandoned. High hopes for the remake
we'll see when there's something to show besides images.

Would anyone kindly spoiler for me, how far can you go with Elly? And does encouraging her corruption, as well as advancing her drawing sessions quest, put her on a "Johnny's girlfriend" path, blocking you from having more sexy times with her yourself? By the time the princess arrives, Elly told me she sometimes meets Johnny at night at the pond, but I never found them there - was that content written in? I've done some 4 lake scenes with her, the last one running home with her topless. I just went for all the available options with every character, wonder if there's hard-split paths and if avoiding scenes with her and Johnny would cause her to not tell you about him as you corrupt her, but unlock more content with her and the MC instead. That's something the available guides aren't clear about. Thanks!

In Runaway Princess, there wasn't an option to get as close to Elly as you could with the other women. The closest you could get to something like that was a moonlight swim in the Pond with her. And yes, she had some innocent meet-ups with Johnny, but nothing more naughty than that. Mobum probably planned for Elly to catch feels for the MC in his absence, which might have led to something more intimate between the two of them.

But any subsequent development of Runaway Princess ended when Mobum was forced to shutter the game.

I am the Development Lead for One Hand Clapping, the studio making Princess on the Run, a reImagining/remake of this game. The reImagining takes the source material from the previous game and builds on it, creating an entire world that the original game only touched on. I was hired to work on the original game, and was as disappointed as everyone else here was when Mobum was forced to end the game and withdraw from AVNs. It is partly because of the unfairness of his departure that I decided to remake the game alongside other developers who loved the game as much as I did.

While holding onto the humor and cleverness of the original plot, we have built a world around the original setting which adds depth and texture to the game without sacrificing the fun. We have found a way to reintroduce the game that affords us to use similar but better character assets and make the story resonate with most players. Gone is a lot of the grindquest, cringey dialog and often problematic coding.

I could talk for hours about what we're doing but you all could learn the same thing over at our or our

When Cxx cautioned against trusting the remake, he had fair reason for that; what we're doing hasn't really been done successfully before. A few games have been remade but not to completion. However, when Cxx suggested waiting until there was 'more than images'... well again, right...if there were only images.

The game was recreated with entirely new coding, brand new, original music and brand new art that closely follows the original designs of the game. There are over 700 game renders currently, almost 100k words and untold lines of code that have gone into the recreation. Our Patreon and Subscribestar supporters get to see some of these advances - all the more reason to join up on one of those platforms and see for yourself.

Is it exactly the same game that Mobum made? No. It's a lot like it, though - think of it like a school book report that was turned into a multi-volume novel. One thing I am sure of is that every single one of you that liked Mobum's original game will love this game, and see the love that our development team put into making this the best game possible.

We hope you join the adventure.

Sounds awesome. Are you aiming at NTR lovers audience or Harem lovers?

I'd read something about this while scanning the thread, but hadn't given it much thought. Now that I played the game, I find it wasteful, but, most of all, unfair that Mobum was forced to stop development. And, you say, abandon the AVN industry altogether? Fuck dictatorships.

Sounds awesome. Are you aiming at NTR lovers audience or Harem lovers?
I hope it's not either/or :p RP seems to have had plans to cater to both, or better yet, the discerning few that don't see them as incompatible. I like the corruption and sharing aspects of the original game and dislike NTR proper, but honestly can't complain if it exists in games as an autonomous route. I don't think it was the main focus of the original RP, was it? (only played the prologue, I know there's more of that in subsequent parts)
