I made a mistake by waiting for a V.0.2.15 before checking things out, not knowing V.0.2.14 is going to be the last one before V.0.3? I will rectify that mistake.

Review:
- The first step toward establishing the new Dark Lord religion is to play is to play at being a merciful god in Holmdow, ahahaha. It is entertaining and logical because Holmdow has been enjoying relative peace for so long away from the front lines that the image of the Dark Lord (who has been corrupting famous women left and right and even a goddess) healing a peasant sounds perfectly normal. I fully expect the other settlements, especially ones who experienced combat like Telind, to be much more difficult.

On Holmdow itself, I also appreciate how you have the option of vaporizing a peasant shit talking you. It offers you the possibility of failure in establishing a religious foothold, and THAT I enjoy. As I have been saying from before, giving options which could lead to failure and negative results are good. It makes the experience immersive.

- Ah yes, Yukako insisting she is going to be the first offering in the first Dark Lord church is very on brand. What, is she going to insert herself as the firsts for all future churches? Erina might compete with her on that front though.

- I enjoy Sartorius's final quest for one simple reason: the Rebels. I think update-wise we haven't been facing that many enemies to give the party members EXP. Hell, after slaughtering everyone I can, the Dark Lord only levels up once! And everyone else doesn't.

It is actually almost disappointing how smooth it was, but there really isn't any other way it could have gone given it is just a bunch of squishy humans against a practical physical god and his minions. I turned that one guy into a clown and decided not to execute the ones which aren't obliged to be executed in favor of painful mercy. It isn't cathartic as I thought it would be -- mainly because exterminating insects isn't meant to be, I guess.

- I deliberated quite a bit when it comes to the deal with Mephi the Demon Queen. There is no option where I can turn down Satomi, which is logical since from Dark Lord and Bogthos perspective the archangel is like a treasure trove of recent information. The only decision is whether to keep the alliance with Ferox or to allow Mephi to witness the final corruption process of Erina and interview her.

I tried to view this from 2 perspectives: from the viewpoint of the Dark Lord, and from the viewpoint of the player.

From Dark Lord perspective, letting Mephi be more aware of how a goddess can be corrupted is a more severe loss, and it is the easy option to just throw away Ferox to the wind. Ferox is also quite rude and rather unapologetic, telling the Dark Lord to make personal sacrifices for his benefit.

From player perspective however, the past of most resistance is often the most beneficial. It is almost certain Mika the Supreme Goddess was the one who assisted or caused Ferox to betray Mephi, and it is probable she would have wanted the Dark Lord to sacrifice him and keep his secrets. Letting Mephi learn more from the Dark Lord would also, unironically, discourage the Queen from trying to learn more, because she would think she has learned enough from the Dark Lord. The less Mephi knows about that other plane and that door, the better.

So ultimately I ended up warning Ferox ahead of time, and despite him basically telling me to sacrifice on his behalf, I still did it. What a kind Dark Lord I am, lol.

- I initially chose to corrupt Hikari and Erina at once in private with Mephi watching, but after watching it once I reloaded so it happens in public lol. The reaction of the onlookers is a treat.

Corrupted Erina and Hikari kinda make me think of characters from Fate series actually... Erina's forehead mark reminds me of Medusa, while Hikari's hair color and pose reminds me of Scathach. Dunno if that was intended, but bonus points anyway.

- One of the braziers lighting up in response to Erina is interesting since it heavily implies the previous Dark Lord fully expects his successor to corrupt a goddess. In fact, it is fully possible for the Dark Lord to expect Erina specifically, because it is evident the Dark Lord has clashed with the Divines personally and Erina is likely one of the deities who descend to the physical realm more often than most.

- Speaking with Bogthos and then Erina in her newly formed realm more or less confirms my suspicion -- what is behind that door are a form of remnants of the lost magics of the past. The talk about free teleportation and how it was successfully dimensionally locked implied the magics available back then were much greater than now. That said, I am still curious on how the previous Dark Lord managed to preserve that. I wonder if it is related to how he managed to preserve his "essence" to be given to a human?

Hum, at this point I should give the previous Dark Lord a nickname too for convenience. If the Supreme Goddess is Michael/Mika, the Demon Queen is Mephistopheles/Mephi, then given how the previous Dark Lord fully expected his death to bring about a new beginning and preserved things from the past, I will call him Hakkma, the personification of worldly wisdom (contrast Chokmah, wisdom of God). Plenty fitting for one of the masters of the physical realm and a source of corruption; few corrupts more than knowledge.

Christmas Eve on my end and my first gift are two updates, heh. Though it seems like v0.2.13 actually got released here faster than scheduled? Doesn't matter, I suppose. Time for review.

V0.2.12
- I didn't expect Erina's final progression event to be that troll-ish, lol. You and DumDum were not kidding about it being special: giving false hope before crushing it is a special treat. I couldn't help but laugh at Erina's despair when the girls yell at the goddess. And hey, looking at the slaves's old forms again is kinda nostalgic, I wonder if we have the option to use the transformation spell on the girls outside of special events, for free roaming? It would be nice.

- When Erina basically lost it in the midst of preaching and just proclaims "Yes, we the Divines have failed" I knew I would miss having Erina preach in this state, ahaha. It's a bit of a shame this will be the last time we see civilians react to a goddess denouncing her own pantheon, since after this she will fall to corruption and by then she won't be a Divine anymore, will she.

- The new religious questline is quite interesting. Didn't think I will actually have to look for random people to talk with to break the heart and hopes of a god. It is almost as exquisite as corrupting Erina. We need more of this: psychologically breaking people is part of the corruption experience, you see.

- Can't decide if I find Yukako deciding to serve her Master while the Nun is watching or the Nun's overflowing enthusiasm despite being not corrupted to be funnier. Really, the occasional taken aback reaction the Nun has, followed by her doubling down on following is the mark of a true follower. A shame she doesn't even have her own character model.

- Expected something from Yuma's quest, wasn't disappointed. The Demon Queen comes with more rather devious offers -- maybe I should give her a nickname too by this point? Given she is very prone to offering you Faustian deals with the devil which are intent to screw you over, I think I can safely call her Mephi by this point, derived from Mephistopheles, one of the most famous depictions of the Devil in literature, to contrast Mika being the Supreme Goddess.

- Speaking of Mika, she really is letting poor Anna to endure her own psychomachia (internal conflict). I am starting to think Anna's thoughts actually get worse the more she tries to resist. Corruption really does run deep, partially or not.

V0.2.13
- After the ride that was Erina's final progression, Hikari's come across as comically anticlimatic lol. I suppose the only point in favor of Hikari's corruption is how it consistently offers choices, even if limited to deciding if you prefer Hikari's approach or Ayumi's, and that's good.

- I will give this much: it is very amusing to watch Hikari loudly announce her infidelity and ruin her own reputation in front of the king and the nobles, lol. The minigame is also no longer a game, given she skips straight toward being punished, lol.

- As usual, Sortevius's quest tends to be fun. Glad to see the Dark Lord corrupting more women, Misaki definitely enjoys it. And it's building up to a bloody climax: let's hope the next nobility quest would top this one.

- Hazuki cooks up a plan. I almost feel bad for the elves since they are about to be screwed over by their princess and the Dark Lord hasn't even touched them. Anna pacing back and forth and ultimately deciding to give Hazuki more corruptive dream is as usual, funny. Finally Hazuki is about to take action, too.

- I almost miss hunting for bandits and rebels. Not they tend to be simple and straightforward, but it also gives precious EXP. Misaki is now level 16 because of three waves of bandits! It's also a nice follow up to what the prison guards say in the capital, since they claim many prisoners used the Dark Lord's invasion to escape.

- Didn't expect Bogthos to bring up children of the previous Dark Lord. It makes sense that they would seek to overthrow their dad, and it is understandable that it is believed they are all dead: not only does the previous Dark Lord believe they are more trouble than they are worth, it is unlikely Mika would have allowed unknown variables whom she cannot predict to live for very long. If nothing else, this confirms it is not time to be having pregnancy tests, lol.

These two updates don't have that many content, but it was entertaining nonetheless. Naturally, I should offer suggestions to match, and I think I will make my suggestions lighter and simpler too:
- Since the current Dark Lord was a former noble and likely had his own household (even if not a large domain like the bigger noble families), it might be worth using as a minor plot point. The Dark Lord's former household and its properties might have become something like a no man's land among nobles, since ever since the Dark Lord's return it is likely the other nobles don't touch it because they fear stepping on his toes.

It likely can be used for a couple of minor events: does the Dark Lord intend to relinquish it and whatever properties there to other nobles? Might actually appease them and get increased compliance. Or should the Dark Lord claim the manor and show the world that he won't relinquish anything that is his, no matter how seemingly insignificant? Choice is yours as the player.

Besides, the slave girls might actually find it enjoyable to find out the roots of the Dark Lord's origins as a human being. Since they are that obsessed with everything related to their master, lol.

- If spilled divine essence could be of use, do you think the ones spilled during the battle with Edar, Majorius and Erina could be used after their fight? The fight combined with how Divines weaken when they remain on the physical plane drained their divinity, so it is highly probable the battle area becomes saturated in usable divine essence. If there is any future plot point which needs divinity to take, harness, or give away to the Demon Queen, then this could be of use.

And that's all I have to say for now. Light in content and rich in entertainment: plenty satisfying. I will wait for the next one.
This update does give that "season finale" vibe before the next one. It's great, both in content and lore. I might be too late in giving suggestions, but I am still going to give my usual free ideas.

- Now that Satomi is in the Dark Lord's custody, it is good time to try and learn about the angels, which hasn't been highlighted as much as the deities ironically enough.

I find it highly, highly doubtful Satomi will listen to the Dark Lord under normal circumstances, so I think a deal is in order: some measure of limited freedom in exchange of information, just like with Yuma. Unlike deities, angels seem to manifest in the physical realm more often; so there must be records about historical angelic appearances, and likely temples in past settlements where notable angelic descent were said to happen.

It would be neat if both Mika and Satomi dismiss the Dark Lord's attempt to study angels via archeological search and study to be "pointless searching for scrapes" but then the Dark Lord discovers unexpectedly useful information or an edge against the Divines.

This is believable since Anna (the partially corrupted angel) has been around for a long, long while since the Zerethin Wall was built. And while Mika has been keeping an eye on Anna, it is probable the angel could slip a few things to the physical realm beneath the Supreme Goddess's notice precisely because Anna slipped it to past places deemed forgotten or irrelevant. After all, the biggest blindspots for those who always look at the future are in the past, haha.

- I think it would be nice if we can have a "settlement being razed to the ground" event. It is a perfect way to speed up the religious movements of the Dark Lord religion because faith always finds a way to ferment itself in times of crisis.

The Dark Lord and his minions personally rescuing citizens from an invader -- would be better if it is the Divines, but realistically it is most likely the Demon Army -- is the stuff which will be immortalized in songs and legends. No religion can truly grow without that.

And now, that's all I have to say. From your Patreon locked posts I think I can tell the development of 3.0 is going smoothly, so I think I won't need to wait that long for the next update. Keep up the great work.

It might still be a while actually. The Dev is basically doing a second pass over the entire game up until now, adding content, adding a quest tracker system, etc. so V0.3.0 might still be a month out even for the Patreon backers.

Hey Dev Umarius . Nice game by the way. can't wait to corrupt more girls.

that said, is it ok to ask you to fix my save file?

1) "Ayumi's Favor" is still around even I was already done with.
2) Some scenes from the "Recollection Room" doesn't play even when I play it. like the "Rina/Yukako Double Corruption" scene.
I wanna see the clip on their corruption but can't. Other scenes are like these.

Umarius So a month in development, how fair in do you think you are into the next update are you? Just kind of curious with where the story is at the moment so I'm looking forward to it.

By the way feel free to take your time, devs that rush updates tend to burn out more often. I'd rather wait for good polished update that your proude of instead of a half put together one that hurts your desire to continue this game

The Dev is doing a major fix of the content up to this point in the upcoming update, which is going to be V0.3.0. I can't say for sure but end of March/early April is the projected release date, and it includes starting 2 new corruption routes, animating every sex scene in the game, fixing the quest system (since from the responses here you can tell it's not working properly) and adding a bunch of new content to set up future stuff in the invasion of the elf kingdom.

Cool. Honestly though, that does sound like a lot so I hope that if they feel like this my be a little much then they'll just give us a heads up and put a post saying they'll move the release back by a some vague amount of time because again that sounds like a lot and I've noticed when some Dev's try to make big releases they burn out and I'd hate for that to happen to them
