nexus has the "show only adult mods" option on it so i dont think thats 100% correct. however i dont think i've ever seen an adult content foundation mod like sexlab or aaf on nexus, only the animations and compatible mods afaik.

Yes, it will be distributed by third party means (no idea how atm) and will not be directly advertised, to avoid having the "explicit sexual content" (or whatever it's called) tag on Steam, but the game will still have "sexual themes" due to lore entries and some background action...the adult addon will add back in the missing pieces and filling these gaps (this has been the plan since the start and one of the reasons as why the H-scenes are "delayed" for later in development)...
It might be posted on nexus mod, since the way the game is being developed will allow for extra packages to be deployed and the dev has been thinking about mod support for more than a while now...

most games that i have seen do this have just had a small patch that unlocks the content so i feel it may be easy enough to just host it on github or something.

Yes, this has always be the plan, in order for it to be released "safely" on most mainstream platforms; the porn addon (because the game will still be NSFW with violence and adult themes in general, but without the pornographic elements) will be worked in phase 3 and will be released alongside the main game

I wouldn't even worry about trying to pander too hard to the coomer crowd, I know it's a free instant cash cow but you have some insanely keen eye for detail that I just haven't seen from any other developer. You're making an actually fun game with an extremely well crafted atmosphere. Seriously excited to see how you game pans out, lewd or not.

yes the show adult mods are correct, but they are very strict about non-con stuffs, bestiality, loli, shota, etc.

also there are cases like BOTN where you don't even need a mod or patch to unlock restricted content, just a file with a specific name, although that was just a case of disabling checks to see if monsters were related to each other.

Let's just say that, in order to avoid any issues with the distribution platforms, all porn content will be relegated to this specific addon pack...ideally, no traces of it will be in the "base" files...

I can't belive I'm saying this myself since I'm in the camp of any fanservice should be there without any "but..." (for example Gust's games decreasing fanservice in some ports), but I agree with the addon being external and let us buy in on steam.

i imagine if it would be so easy to just plug in "official content" then it would probly be pretty easy to add modded content as well. (im not a mod creator so idk for sure)

Found a bug. If you die on the four wheeler and press the activate button instead of the respawn button, you become soft-locked and have to restart the game via Alt-F4 or Task Manager.

This can be handled by modding, I don't think that Matto would be willing to add anything beyond what it's been displayed in his concept arts and previous iterations.
The whole reason of this separation between SFW and NSFW is his way to try and avoid being associated too much with full on "porn"...he's trying to create a game with heavy adult elements, but a game still, not a porno.

...and this might actually be a problem, since I see many people here that have become accustomed to see 3D walking galleries or super linear stuff and they either expect that, and just want more animations for the porn stuff with complete disregard for what would make this game a game, or dismiss this project as "impossible", that's the only reason the comes to mind as of why support for this game is still so low...

Inversely, porn is... well... pornography with a [sometimes deliberately] bad story wrapped around it while a video game with adult themes [guns, explosions (of both kinds ) and coitus] can stand on its own with lewd content added for garnish.

I've no optics or data to back this up but I imagine funding would be more forthcoming for an rpg space epic VERSUS a lewd space adventure that also features guns, namely due to players having a longer engagement span with the former rather than uhhh "sustained" engagement with the latter.

Sorry for the word vomit... felt philosophical.

i've felt this before, having had ideas and ambitions to make an adult game that was actually "good" (despite me not actually being capable of it) but then having second thoughts and thinking "why waste the effort on an adult game when that will just limit the people who're even going to be interested in it" honestly my opinion is go with which ever pays back on the effort

I knew this game had issues with rdna2 gpus, so I made use of the workaround posted here.
What I didn't know was that with the workaround if anything cums it not only crashes the game, but my entire system.
