Going to elaborate on this. The last update was huge update when you include the lovers path portion as well. The next update and into 0.17.0 he has to work on a new gameplay mechanic to really progress the story. So expect a little more filler stuff in next couple updates. 0.18.0 should actually progress the story in a meaningful way.
This might be good for some people cause it might mean we get more filler sex content.

considering the speed of update a pair of major ones of filler isn't that long to wait for a new "major event" bit more like 0.11 and 0.12 than 0.13 x)

Yeah i know... The thing is that I'm not playing the game (again) and I'm just spoiling myself with photos... I'll play it again when it's either reach v20 or after the school semester. (probably in 3 months...)
Patreon’s just got a big tease for Sam content so to anyone wanting some more Sam, it might be coming soon
Imo this is more just showing off more of what's going on with other characters in the story in a different format. Considering we wouldn't get this otherwise from the perspective we play as the MC.
Edit: also we got Sam's age at 24 which puts Liz at around 22 since Sam is a few years older than her.

Honestly take the update even with nothing new, unless you don't plan to play the game till 0.16. the bug fixes correct a bug that basically corrupt and render ALL your saves useless in 15.5. See the changelog >
While working on v0.16.0, I stumbled upon a major bug. I initially hoped it was a one-off issue, but after investigating further, it became clear that this is a legitimate problem that can occur. As a result, I have removed v0.15.5 from all sources and strongly urge everyone to update to v0.15.6 as soon as possible.
This is a small but impactful bugfix that addresses the following issues:
- A bug that corrupts all save data and persistent gallery data, disabling future new saves.
- Some image quality issues.
- Various chat and ShareSpace optimizations.

You should probably alert the OP about the urgency. This update doesn't even show up in the changelog.
