Nowhere does it indicate that that Veronica and Franceska are a couple and ONLY lesbians with one another. If people paid attention to Nicole's conversation BEFORE the lesbian scene you'd understand that the effect/need for having an orgasm ups the percentage for thinking power. They're getting their THINK on before the workday begins. The MC was already being serviced by the wait staff while they were together. After the workday concluded, per the schedule, the MC was to have dinner. AFTER dinner, the MC and staff have free time. We don't know what happens after free time as that is where the update ends.

The MC was laid no less than 9x before his work session (The law office, limo ride, overnight with Anna, and a BJ by Ellie). Everyone is losing their shit because he lost out on a scene with the two scientists? For real?! He was completely absorbed in his work, lost track of time, and had to be reminded that the workday had come to an end. These women were most likely hooking up during the interim of when the uncle died and the MC arrived at the mansion to keep their peak brain activity going. It's not the end of world. You will, most likely, have a crack at them. You didn't lose any content!

I've never been a fan of the MC hooking up with EVERY female that he encounters in an expansive story (where there are many female characters) anyway. 1) It robs the story of realism, and 2) writers/devs typically come up with ridiculous reasons/scenarios that ultimately devalue the overall narrative that they are trying to tell.

So if these two are in a committed relationship, then let it be what it is. We've already been introduced to 8 other female characters that the MC will ultimately have sex with (and have already had a sexual experience with 3 of them); and there will likely be a few more before it's all said and done. So having Veronica and Franceska NOT be love interests of the MC is perfectly fine with me. I just hope the dev doesn't force the issue with them. Don't concoct some nonsensical excuse for the 2 for them to start having sex with the MC. Just let them be background characters that help move the scientific aspects of the plot forward.

Yeah. I've just skimmed through the novel, because I wanted to see what kind of a relationship they have, without spoiling much of the rest of the story, so I'm not sure if it happens more than once, but there's at least one scene with them. It's actually a foursome since in one of the very few differences I've found between the novel and the VN, there's also a third woman working in the lab there.

The dev will have to change some things in the story going forward though, unless of course he's just going for a quick cash grab. The version of the novel I've found is 77 pages long and this release reached the content of page 47, so there's not much left from the source material.

I don't think that the characters should be avoided. I think the dev should have the courage to go against the grain for the sake of a good story. The novel basically setups up a flesh dildo relationship between the MC and the lesbians. If I'm the dev, I would improve on that by not having a sexual relationship between the MC and the lesbians at all. I wouldn't risk hurting my overall story for the sake of 2 characters. I honestly think it was a mistake introducing them as lesbo/bi to begin with, but what's done is done. I would make them colleagues and keep it moving. Introduce a 3rd (or 4th) character to the lab that is heterosexual if need be.

I think it's often a case of a developer saying, "I spent the time creating and rendering these characters, so they're getting fucked!" LOL!

I understand if people want to play a true harem and ONLY a true harem and that the lesbian aspect of the LI's does not fit that definition. I mean, I don't know what your threshold is, but when they're all doing it together, they're likely to touch each other as well. It's not like they're falling in line waiting for their turn (which would be a silly scene to look at, though not unlikely considering the story), nor having trysts behind the MC's back (except the two lab assistants probably), and so on. Not an expert in gender and all that, but maybe it's not that they're bi per se, but they certainly can fool around given the right heated moment when the MC is around, just like in the original. Extra spoiler: in the original story, Anna is the "main" girl, and in fact he was her first, if you know what I mean. The rest love their master and love him. It's only those two assistants who have a history with each other, if I remember correctly.

Anyway, the dev has enough material to work with, and can make changes if they want, so it might not be a 1 to 1 adaptation. And I would say that it's still a harem story, because even if the two lab assistants didn't exist or aren't involved with the story (they are), the rest of the cast is still there.
