besides delay after delay I honestly lost any shred of hope for this game to come back alive when there was a post saying he is working on another game as well. At least I think it was this dev could be confusing him with another so many fall into the trap of making 2 games at the same time.

No, you're right, it was this dev. Maybe someday we'll see an update, and I sincerely hope it puts all doubts to rest... But realistically, I doubt it.

i have this on my wishlist on steam and was about to buy it when i decided to check the forums. one thing that i hate is when a dev works on 2 games at once. Recreation did it with Bad Memories and that caused a huge uproar. if you feel yourself burning out, take a vacation, it's not smart to start a 2nd game because 1 of them will suffer in the end.

Not officially abandoned. It's even supposed to get a release at some point later this month, I think. But it's also been over 18 months since this had a release, most of those months with complete silence from the dev. The abandoned tag is more than deserved.
