Just open script.rpy in notepad++ and change all instances of her name to Mom. Note that this isn't a perfect solution by any means and some dialogue will feel funny like grandma calling her daughter Mom but it sure beats a son calling her parent by name.
This is how the incest "patch" in here works, all they're doing is replacing landladly with mom, half-tenant with son etc. It's not actually patching anything.

On page 13, image 1 appears like this
(that is, Susan appears, but it should be Amie and Beth, because when we click on it, we get the scene with the 2 girls mentioned and Susan doesn't even participate, so I think there is an error in the gallery.
As a side note, the update was good, Samantha's thing seemed very forced to me, honestly she and the boyfriend could have caused more impact against the MC and Beth and there would have been a good way for Beth and the MC to have teamed up to both give closure once and for all to those two and also make a stronger bond than it already is between Beth and the MC and Beth would have her mini arc, but since then, we will have to see how if the story.
Psdt: The redhead at the reception with her glasses is 11/10, I personally hope she appears again, because she has never been there There are enough redheads, hehe.

Can someone explain what is going on in the story, everything is in jumbles? Because lets be honest, story is pretty bad, rushed, and left out much details. I literally just started playing and the MC already is banging some random woman he just met. Okay fine, the worst was the explanation on why the mother left the MC? All I know is there was a car crash by the father who killed 2 ppl. Some reason left the wife behind and threatened her to never see them again? Then she is a CEO of a company but someone under her gave her permission to take a day off? HUH?
Sorry to say it like this, but this game feels like a kind of copy of My New Family developed by Killer7. The style, story and the characters' reactions at the beginning are pretty much the same with a few minor differences.
sorry i just dont have read the post because it's the first time I play this game and i dont care if someone think I should have read the post of the dev beforeCongratulations on noticing it without reading the post made by the dev themselves.
Could someone tell me what other game it is similar to? I mean, I know perfectly well that it is similar to MNF (My New Family) but I would like to know what the other one they mention is called DOA, please and thank you.

So when MC, Kylie and Amie go to the resort I recognized the MNF cameo on the spot, but I couldn't place the other ginger family. I think I recognized them, but what game is that?

Okay, so I've only just gotten around to playing this game and I'm amazed someone had the balls to do this really. It's as though this dev/author played MNF and just thought, "I want to play with this situation", and just tried to get from point A to point B as 'efficiently' as possible. I'm not going to bother with making anymore comparisons as obviously it's been done already.
I have some issues with the story though:-

- He was 5yo when his mother 'died', but he remembered her voice 20 years later? Over speaker phone no less...
- He's at least 6 years older than his sisters, right? And he moved out of his fathers house after graduating high school, right? So his elder sister would have been at most 12 years old when he was 18, and his PC was sold before he moved out so it could have been earlier... So he would have been having a very strange relationship with his online girlfriend when playing WOW. And he never replaced his PC in the 7 or so years since? (Discord also came out in 2015, only 7 years before this games first release.)
- He didn't recognise his online girlfriend, or her voice, but remembered his Mums?
- His mother and sisters all have pale skin and red hair, but he's got ruddy skin and brown/russet coloured hair? Does genetics not mean much to anyone any more? It happens in loads of games and it annoys me, so I'm just moaning really.
- His fiancé jilted him at the alter, but her family didn't attend? He didn't have anyone to talk to and perhaps send the police after the bitch? No one to commiserate with?

Female character models look great, but that is also the only part that is better than the story this one takes almost all it's "inspiration" from. Seriously you might as well have copied the entire My New Family novel and just inserted you own character models and this would have been better. Basicly everything from story, to characters to even the house they live in is more or less a direct copy of MNF. The story setup is cliche and makes no sense whatsoever, like oh yeah he wrote a note treatening with murder so i'll just leave my child with him for 20 years instead of going to the police. It made little sense in MNF, and even less the way it's depicted here. The dialogue in this novel is just straight up garbage, it's not funny nor can it be taken seriously, it's just plain bad boring and have no relation to how people would actually communicate or behave. MC looks like a total freakshow and how even his mother can call him handsome is beyond me. He is also full of crap, like one night he promises his little sister that he(her big strong brother) will protect her and literally the next morning she knocks him clean out with 1 punch. Not only does that make him look like a massive douchebag liar but also a complete weakling. On average if an average girl hits an average guy with full force the chance of her breaking her fingers or wrist is much higher than her actually knocking him out. This is the author's first novel and I gotta say, wtf you copied a good novel and actually managed to make it bad even despite having prettier girls. My suggestion can only be to stick with making female character models you're pretty good at that and leave the writing for someone else, and if you are gonna include something in your novel do research on it first. I mean it's not hard like if you want fights in your visual novel, just watch some ufc or something.
