the developer is working on steam placement currently. After the steam release of episode 1 he returns to the update development.
Delete patch.rpy and patch.rpyc files from game folder. This will disable it.

Please, note there’s no mention of approximate release date of update. Moody has been taught to write hints in common words without setting dates.
