I like the theory that Yumi is actually a bastard child of Tomonori, and is technically a Tsukioka. Yuki was completely passed out, right? And it wouldn't be too far fetched for the yakuza and the elite to rub elbows with one another. Perhaps it was a social event, Tomonori (or even multiple others, who knows) saw Yuki's unconscious and vulnerable form and just... took advantage.
Based on the stuff Tsubasa has said about Tomonori being a good man but boring, I think it's unlikely that he's been unfaithful to her, much less that he raped an unconscious drug addict in a yakuza den. She could be hiding it to protect the family name or something, but I don't think we've gotten any hints that he's more than he seems and surely we would have by this point in the story if he were going to be important.

Also, if Yumi looks similar to Touka because they're related, wouldn't that mean she's also related to Tsubasa, given Touka inherited her looks from her?
I still remember Tsubasa saying Yumi looked familiar at some point. Now I could be hallucinating it and it never happened because I have not been able to find when it happened.
[...]
Actually now that I think about it, did Tsubasa marry into the Tsukioka family? I don't quite remember.
I don't think Tsubasa recognized Yumi but she did recognize the name Yamaguchi.

Tsubasa's marriage to Tomonori was arranged when they were very young. She came from a family with similar wealth and social standing to the Tsukiokas and which was also obsessed with tradition. I think it's unlikely, but I guess not impossible, that she's from a yakuza family - while I can definitely see a family like the Tsukiokas having shady dealings with the yakuza, I think it would far too vulgar to openly intermarry with them.

Yea that must be the line I was looking for. You are probably right that it wouldn't make sense to have open ties like that. And with the recognising of Yumi that I thought had happened being eliminated, and that extra line from Touka. I think I can probably write off the bulk of those thoughts.

Here lies Lessons in Love, killed by Texas Law
Texas seems to be trying to overtake Florida in the "looniest state" category. They are also literally trying to ban students making animal noises in school because of a long-debunked rumor about schools providing litter boxes in schools for students who identify as "furries". It's even called the (never mind that they forgot to work the "S" into the name so the acronym works). I promise you, this isn't The Onion. That link comes straight from the Texas Legislature Online site.

here.

Fanfest link updated for March 17th!

A Nao-chan main menu cover is the only real addition to the link for today:

I don't know why, but I always have to laugh hard at Nao wearing a shirt that just says "shirt".

Welp looks like it might be time for another huggy boy type of venture. Lessons In Not Questionably Aged Girls. The main cast gets aged up 10 years and they're still in highschool becuase why not. Sel can continue to make his game without getting his front door kicked in by the feds and all washboards will be eliminated from the game. Everyone's happy.
