They aren't really connected and can stand on their own. There is references of mysteries between them and the occasional cameo of characters in different AVNS.

I've recently started this AN and, so far, I'm liking it.
I only gave a passing look at the walkthrough, I want to play it to the end for the first time without spoilers or assistance, but I noticed most dialogues affects some PC stats.
Do they contribute to some major story choice or are they mostly useless as in the other games? Do I get a bonus by being extra nice or an extra jerk?

Based on your stats you will be able (or not) to unlock scenes with certain girls and get endings with them. Like for example - for Abigail/Eve or a teacher you should collect some jerk+manly points, for Chloe/Anna - nice points etc.
So yeah, I would say it affects the story in general.

The plot seems interesting, but the dialogue is infantile at best.
"I think I did well"
"I think you did well"
"I really think I did well"
"I'm sure you did well."
That's not quite verbatim, but it's very close. That's not a translation issue. Other times, phrases are used incorrectly which could be a translation issue. It's really hard to enjoy the story when the characters read as if they're cavemen. There are also too many characters that do not behave in the manner that they are described to behave in, by the character themselves as well as the others.
Some times the dialogue isn't properly synced to the frames. Other times the frame doesn't accurately represent what is being depicted in the dialogue. Or it doesn't accurately represent how the characters would behave in that situation. One example, it makes zero sense for two "shy" female characters to change into skirts to do yoga when one of them is already wearing athletic clothing which is commonly worn to do yoga in.
This game has a lot of potential. It wouldn't take a ton of work. Which makes it even more sad that it's been left in this state.

let me guess your first time playing a daniels k game? He grinds out games without editing or an editor and I believe his first language is French. For him it's about quantity and speed of his releases over the quality. I'm just glad he moved to ren'py over rpgm which was used in My Girlfriend's Amnesia

Banshee647 If I remembe correctly the image quality and models of his games were always great, but around the halfway mark the story always went off the rails and lead to some weird nonsense and the endings were always mediocre or worse.
I'd love to give them a chance, but they always feel unsatisfying.

Starting off with a GF sucks bad enough because if you want to be with another girl you have to be a cheater. But what pissed me off even more was one of my favorites had a MMF scene, which ruined her for me after that. This story could have been so good if it was a Harem so i didn't have to cheat on GF or at least not have a GF to begin with, and scrap the MMF threesome scene. Even if i could get past the Having a GF from the start, That MMF threesome scene killed it for me. Felt like NTR to me.

Might have felt like it to you but it wasn't. At that time she wanted to get with the other guy, she'd been after him for a long time. She only goes for the MC when she realises the other guy is a dick.
So technically it's worse for folk that like to be a girls number one when they figure out not only did she want to fuck another guy, she settled for the MC because the other guy wasn't interested.
Fans of her character will have to be content with being her second choice and only getting that choice because her first choice rejected her.

Good memories of this game. I remember that my favorite LI, if I'm not mistaken, is called Andreia. She was the hardest to date, and I went through a lot of trouble to win her over.
Your absolutly right. I know it wasn't but it felt like that. And being second choice for her. Ruined her for me. This dev if they ever do another VN needs do better with stuff like that. Nobody likes sloppy seconds.

The dev has done quite a few VN's after this one.
The main issue being just before this one he made an NTR game so this still has some carry over from that in a way.
