Weirdly enough, it started working all of a sudden. Still, here's a screenshot of the Data Error popup since I'm still getting that.
Also, I'm getting some sort of error when I try to use the default name, though I am able to bypass it simply by pressing the ESC key at that point. I have provided a screenshot of that popup as well.
I'm new to the VN/Eroge scene, what engine is this game ? I want to play it on android but the visual novel reader there only support specific engine

I ran into an issue where I was having issues that were fixed and didn't know they had been fixed because the changelog on page 1 says this is V1 but reading the thread shows that it has actually had like 20 updates. Might be worth updating the changelog to say the game is V2 - Final and just writing "numerous bugfixes" or something under the content so if anyone finds an early version of the game out there on the internet somewhere they don't bother you about fixed issues.
Update: The new version fixed a bunch of stuff but it still loops endlessly when it gets to this part. I set the font size to 22 and my locale is set to Japan as per the instructions and I did not rename the main character at the start. Keeping the character's name the same isn't listed in the translator's notes but the game won't continue if you change it.

Update to the update: I got everything working.
So it turns out the version of the game in the download section is not fully updated. To play the game without it crashing you need to download the game in the download section, then download the patch file below it (Because the game doesn't come with the most updated patch for some reason???) then extract the patch and rename it to "srp.pac", delete the original srp.pac from the game folder and put the patch one in there. Make sure to set the font to 22 in settings/font and change your windows region to japan in control panel and the game is now crash free.

Can I ask if the PC-winlator emulator can be used in this game and if so, how to edit it to play??
I can't get past the name entry i got the patch but do i just put it in the folder new to this crnl crap
i keep puting the font to 22 but it switches back to 26 and all the menus are in code can't make ?? out of ???
