I dunno yet, last time I tried the Game it had quite a few bugs (the programming ones!) and it was a bit too challenging for my taste but that was some months ago so maybe it´s going better now!

Is there some sort of goal in this game or does it only consist of collecting all the H-scenes?

. I don't know in which version you tried it out, but issues are fixed every version and new issues arise each version as well.The original game didn't finish the story, so you won't find particular objectives other than setting up to collecting everything you want (H scenes included).
One of the goals of the extension of this remake is precisely to finish the story that was left midway. This however will be one of the last things we do, most likely, as the new features and scenes will take priority over the story.
I’m trying to progress to the story but the enemies are to strong and keep losing and I’m also trying to get and upgrade my gear but the bugs keeps killing me what am I’m doing wrong?

In the beginning it is totally acceptable to just flee from battles. Craft weapons like the dagger, bow or Bumerang. Avoid the Dogs because getting infected with Parasites is a huge disadvantage early game. Getting the lewdness Ring early is a big boost since you then can turn your Lust into a stun. Now Parasites become useful to use the stun more frequently

As of 1.05 (the 1.5 is apparently a version numbering limitation), the current version, the only birth scenes are the Wharf roach, Slug, and Fly. Eroism has mentioned there are plans to add actual pregnancy as a feature and birth for other insects, mosquito included; though it wasn't clear if that would be in the form of defeat scenes or just birthing them, and the features isn't yet on the games itch.io timeline so it will likely be a while.Does the Mosquito eggs have a birth scene?

Were you able to unlock the Field?
I've seen some people with trouble finding the area, I was trying to identify if it was bad luck, looking on the wrong places or if there is a bug in unlocking the Field.
I can give you a few more details regarding the plan we have for the pregnancy feature
.The defeat birth scene remains as is, gives the idea that Leah spent some time being a breeding ground. Then any other "normal" scene will create a period of incubation for the eggs where Leah's belly will grow slightly depending on the egg size/quantity and then trigger a normal birth scene after a while. Parasite Worms will function as contraception as suggested before, and the Parasite Worm Big scene will only trigger when it has consumed some eggs.
Mosquitos will be part of the second case, but we won't be able to add them at the same time since we have to plan, request and animate the CGs. Either that or make image edits, which we will decide when we get there. We will also have a scene problem for the Leeches and the Cicada as well, so this may also be added on another version.
For now we're not planning pregnancy for the Parasite Beast and the Jellyfish, but we wanted to add a consequence or effect to the Jellyfish scene, since the Parasite Beast already has the Parasite Worms.
It will take a few versions into the extension roadmap until we implement the feature however, like you said, but any thoughts or ideas meanwhile are welcomed

Big fan of pregnany systems in Hentai so I´m definitelly looking forward to see more from you!
Besides: I don´t know if I´m asking too much but I think I would love if you (later on in the Game) find Insect/Human Hybrids because some scientist fused Humans with Insects!
Maybe this could lead to some Monster Girls (Bug Type) and Monster Girl Babies when Impregnated! ; P
Also: I would love if some Insect or creature (Wolfes or spiders?) captures the Protagonist Girl and takes her too it´s Nest/den/cave!
And that place is then (temporarily) the new spawn place until she manages to escape!
She has to try and escape from there! (If the player decides to sleep there or gets captured while trying to escape she gets breed over the day/Night again!
And that cycle continues until she manages to escape!
Ps: Please please don´t abandon this Game! I´ve seen too many Hentai Game Developers abandon their Games!
For the Jellyfish, maybe it could also double as a contraceptive in the form of a parasite polyp which would tease and shock her with it's tendrils (similar to the parasite worms). Once it eats enough eggs, when interacting with water (exploring the shoreline, rear beach, swamp, or drinking water from the waterfall) Leah would have a chance to lay a budding polyp into the water, removing the parasite. Oh, and while it's on my mind. During the fly scene "Rub while depositing eggs", if it's possible to adjust the chances of the individual animations, I think the chance for the 'egg laying' animation needs to be increased. For the scene supposed to filling her with more eggs, that animation is quite uncommon despite only being a split second long; it's not unusual to only see it happen only 1 or 2 times in the whole scene.
Another good change if possible would be to add the longer 'egg laying' animation from the previous scene where they're initially laid should be included. Specifically: right after the eggs are laid, the fly lays a second batch that has a more animation and sounds than the animation currently in "Rub while depositing eggs".

I won't speak for everyone, but personally, I feel that in this game (where the main focus isn't on the variety of images and animations), the protagonist's commentary plays a crucial role. That's why I would love to see more of it, with greater variety. Maybe not just in the form of dialogue text, but also as floating text bubbles appearing during animations.
