Hey everyone!
It's been almost a week now since House Chores v1.0 released! Thank you all for such an eventful week. I was blown away by all of your support and I'm so glad you all have enjoyed the game!
I wanted to give you all an update on a couple of things-
== Content Update - v1.1 ==
I'm working on a small update coming soon. v1.1 will add a few new interactions to previously existing content.
I want to stress, there will be no NEW art in this update. But I think this update will improve some moments just a little more.
I'm going to stay tight-lipped on this update until it's ready to drop. I plan to release it sometime next month so stay tuned!
== Bug Fixes ==
Emily's Tease Scene...
A bunch of people have reported this one to me and a proper fix is ready to go with the next update!
When selecting the "More <3" option, the game is supposed to transition into the 'homerun' scene. Currently, it fades to black, replays the previous menu and then goes to the scene. So you aren't actually missing any content when viewing this event. Sorry for the troubles here.
There were some other small bugs reported my way. I'll have a fix for those bugs too in v1.1!
== Next Game ==
The next game project is in development although it is very early. Artwork for House Chores was being created right up until release. So this new project has only just begun.
But, I will share some early details about it!
This new game will take place in the House Chores 'universe' and will center around just two characters and their story for a weekend.
I want to lean into the Visual Novel style a little more so this will be a more condensed story with some branching paths along the way.
I can't wait to share more of this project with you all soon!
