Feel like I don't want to say anything because every time I feel like "oh this thing that I'm trying is helping" it just kinda stops doing that. I'm just not getting much of any work done and it feels difficult to justify only releasing what I do have as an update. Still, I'm alive (with all the mixed feelings I have about that fact).
Related: Did you know that they're now treating severe treatment resistant depression with microdosing ketamine? What a time to be alive.
I totally get the not wanting to report no progress thing but not seeing any recent comments from you starts to instill the fear that the game might be abandoned. Maybe consider putting the on-hold tag for your game? That will relieve a lot of people of the worry about the game being abandoned while also allowing you to not have to check back in every month.

FFS, is this some kind of dev curse?
Why is seemingly every second porn game dev (especialyl when the game is promissing) suffering from severe depression/ilness?

There's a theoretical answer to that: now, not to speak for NRFB here, but in many cases; people who develop h-games already have depress/are psychological unwell. The signs just simply aren't that strong. With that in mind, many developers and others, also typically go to this kind of media as an outlet. Unfortunately, too much consumption of pornography has been proven to not only be unhealthy, but has similar affects to that of alcohol/drug abuse. To which, when the high of such media is no longer provided at the same level: the return to such previous states come back stronger than they were.
