The game is great and I'm enjoying the path we're taking. I don't know why people are criticizing/hating it, after all, the game isn't finished yet—it's still in development, and there's still a long way to go before its development is complete. Until then, we can suggest things that can still be improved or even added, like new art, more depth in the characters, etc. The fact that there is more dialogue and depth in the characters (along with the very good art) already surpasses the first game.OP Updated to 0.10.0b with a variety of fixes:
- Typo fixes
- Fixed a crash in the cheats menu
- Added robotic features to Melody's spa image
- Added wings to Riku in her Ruby threesome
- Removed Butters' wings in one CG.
- Fixed town ambience not playing anymore
- Fixed a clipping issue with Ruby's dress and lingerie.
Also, man, the recent reviews have been brutal. Are you guys really not liking the direction of this game's story? I thought it was my best written yet. It has themes, character arcs, conflict, mystery and tension. I kept the pace fast, I listened to criticism and made improvements for the weaker parts. Then I just get slammed with a review saying I didn't do all those things and I'm at a loss.
I read two 3-stars reviews, that said "wall of texts" and it made me chuckle. I'm not saying to be mean to anyone, or to sound condescending, but those people probably don't have a lot of VNs under their belt. I use 0x52 URM when I play Ren'py VNs, and with it you can toggle a progress bar which shows how many line of script you read out of the maximum possible (including all paths). Currently, FwB2 has around 17k lines to be read, while for most VNs I read, they're usually around 45-60k. And then there's LiL which is around 250k or something. Also, most "line of text in the script" (which is for the player every "new" textbox) are usually really short, rarely over a line or two on the screen.OP Updated to 0.10.0b with a variety of fixes:

Yeah, I completely agree with you. One of my biggest criticisms towards a lot of visual novels, specifically Japanese developed, is how long and unconcise they can be. Which is why I make such an active effort to keep the pacing of my games sharp and the word count concise. Some people recall that I actually went a little too far with the conclusion to act 1. It went too far in the opposite direction many felt like it was rushed. On the flip side, I also have people saying there are too many words. I think your writing is pretty concise, and to the point. It flows pretty naturally and to me, it's more on the lighter side of things as far as VNs go. For me, it's like, when I'm hesitating on what to catch up next and don't want something too dense, I know I can count on a FwB2 updates to give a light and refreshing read, with a warm cast of characters, and absolutely stunning art.
Keep up the good work, so far I've read both FwB, MG1000 and My Tuition Academia, and I had a great experience each time. One thing I absolutely love about FwB is the attention to the partner pleasure in lewd scene, which doesn't just feel like the macho version "yeah, I made her cum with my full piston technique because I'm a king in bed". And thank you very much for that ^^
