It starts from a much later patch, v11/v12 from foot of the mountains 1 though -
Also in the menu there is no option for new game for me, theres a save file from 2021 when i played it last and thats all

im wanting to play through each version up to the latest patch if possible

You need to click carefully, click just once, when i started out i had that problem too. Click once and wait until the dialog appears, then click on the dialog to skip.

1st step: If you look carefully there's a very thin black line that shows up when you hover your mouse over that area, leave your mouse there for 1 sec and you'll see it, then click just once and wait for the dialog to appear
2nd step: skip the dialog by clicking it, if you click anywhere else on the screen for some reason it cancels the action
3rd: just choose the stones and be mindful that soon you'll need to do the same for hiding eggs.

Man do you know how to that in mobile it's kinda stressful to do it I don't know if can tap it or not

There's a "less grind MOD" in the OP..
I've tried it, but IMO it doesn't do much.. you can try it if you want..

The grind is insane level repeating scenes to make game longer wow i am out. Recommended to people who like to get their time cucked in real life.
