This only makes me more curious.
But a $1 is also a lot more then I currently have in my bank account for a while.

But it has sexy banter/dialogue! That's like, one of the key components of strip poker! SPNATI keeps that trend going.

I had to look up SPNATI. I suspect you (specifically) might be disappointed at the depth of the game and the depth of the banter.

Is what I've done worth $1 to subscribe? Indisputably!

If I were to critique the Meredith Strip Poker minigame as it is, I would offer the following:

• Gameplay is kind of shallow. There is no money in play. Each hand just results in a tug of war of losing or gaining clothing.
• MC always deals. There is no switching of dealer (yet).
• The "Fold" option doesn't have much use except in very rare circumstances.
• Because you can get in a back-and-forth, the dialogue can become repetitive. You might get tired of Meredith telling MC that he has a nice chest and should show it off more.

I've picked out a couple of posts to reply to.





MC's Dad making an appearance has always been planned. It's one of the first things Meredith mentions when she does her stroll around MC's bedroom, so it's been foreshadowed.

Trust me. He will establish himself as a clear villain and you will want to bring him to justice. I have my own idea of what "justice" means and it's standard, boring, formulaic shit like MC discovers his Dad is embezzling money using his computer. Others have different, more creative ideas of what "justice" means, and that's what the aforementioned poll is testing for. MC does have to stand up to his father and earn his place as the man of the house.

MC's Dad is coded as a standard 1980's "Wall Street" stereotype with a suspicious sinus-related problem, typical of the era. He has an "I always get what I want!" kind of attitude and when his attempt to come back into Meredith's life as if nothing had happened is rebuffed, he resorts to making the family's life miserable to try and squeeze them into compliance. Example: "Soon you'll realize I'm the only game in town, Babe!"

In researching this character, I keyed on a few villains from ~1980's films which have informed by thinking:

1. Terry Silver from Karate Kid III (1989)
2. Ellis from Die Hard (1988)
3. Carl Brunner from Ghost (1990)

Fair warning:
The feedback I've gotten so far from the Meredith Strip Poker minigame seems to be largely critical of the art. One guy said her hip was not in the right place and one of her legs looked deformed. Another guy said Meredith's face looks like an alien. Yet another said the gameplay was shallow (which is fair).

I think the interface is pretty inventive and cool and there's a lot of potential for it to become something special. During testing, I found it to be quite fun and a relaxing time waster.

I put a lot of effort into it. It has sexy dialogue/banter and VA sound effects, but you really need a lot of robust dialogue for a game that can get very repetitive.

All of that is to make sure you're fully informed before you part with your $1.

I noticed that, too. I don't want to sound like a pain-in-the-ass critic, sorry, but in this moment it caught my eye immediately.
Maybe in this pose, the part of the thigh that is closer to the butt should be bigger. and she's got her leg too far up.

Well I wouldn't go in expecting SPNATI quality, but thanks for being honest about it though!
Not having money isn't bad, but I suppose if it adheres to the "winner is the one fully dressed, loser is naked, so you gain/lose clothes" it could certainly lead into that loop for sure. Though I understand its not an uncommon idea, as it can make the game rather short otherwise.

Although, I'd also argue that's kind of the point. Strip poker (or any strip game) should probably be a pretty quick affair, and not potentially tens of minutes, or hour(s) long like some old games could be. Most of those involve money though (and the selling/buying back of clothing, leading into the looping problem).

Respectfully, I think you've mischaracterized the nature of the poll. The Subscriber poll is about what kind of "justice" MC's Dad should get at the conclusion of his story arc. The poll options INCLUDE MC cucking his dad, but ALSO includes beating him in a brawl (They Live (1988)). The "sent to prison" option is the graceful way of allowing people to say, "I'm not interested in either of those things."

I rummuged up a $1 to give it a try. While it is, as you stated not up to SPNATI (not a lot is), I don't inherently dislike what you have here as a framework though.

It's nice that the dialogue options do change a little for Meredith losing, though I think its a missed thing that nothing happens if the player is losing.

I can't really comment on the art, as I don't really pay super close attention, and it all seems fine to me.

I do admit, I focus more on the LOSING content, as that is incredibly rare in the strip game scene for some reason.

The writing is fine though, and I do like even the minor details of just the player description as he strips. Not a lot of things do that either. Everything also being in first person perspective is also kind of nice.

Should certainly be able to just start touching yourself if you lose though. Personal preference. But I understand this is also a kind of preview of upcoming content, and not exactly a finished thing.

My only nitpicks would be the same as the strip poker you can play on your PC. The fact it's an all or nothing affair, I think really lowers the erotic content of the scene. Also thinking of that one, it's a small shame the player's lost clothing just vanishes into the ether for this, instead of lingering somewhere in the scene. Same could be said for Meredith's clothing as well. Another detail usually not shown in almost any strip game is where the clothes end up going when they get taken off really...

I believe what always make moms on games better than any character other than the taboo of course is having a voluptuous body especially on the thighs/ass/belly, which is closer to reality, which is what mothers generally have because they don’t care much about diet because they have more important responsibilities to bear, not like models.

I'm not trying to draw her thinner each time and she should have a bit more meat on her bones for sure. When I posted the sketch in my Discord, her tits were way smaller and I made them bigger twice. Meredith's heads have been a hot topic of conversation lately, more-so in the past month than every prior month combined since the game was made public, it feels like.

I've kind of created a problem for myself having so many different heads for a 2D character. Each different head has its own problems. Some of the older heads are drawn in low resolution, which is what I suspect you're getting at with the "smooth outline" comment. Meredith is 39-years old, so she's supposed to have a little bit of age to her. In some scenes, she looks closer to 29 (like the Kitchen), which is not what I intended.

I have a moratorium on new Meredith heads. In fact there are some heads I'd like to put on a rocket and shoot into the sun (POV Handjob Scene and Breast Play Scene). For the Strip Poker scene, I borrowed a head from a 2024 wallpaper and put it in the game. I might be able to fix the Bonus Scene head for v0.6 or v0.7, but I'm trying to prioritize new content and put a "budget" on fixing old content.
