this is BS this has been going on for a long ass time the VN wants to lock up and freeze after a certain point and laptop is relatively newish so that is not issue nor is ram unless you need like freaking 16GBs or more or some outrageous amount all because dev had to make renders 4k ultra or whatever its a shame too as i could of become a sub if i was actually able to get thru a whole update without the freezing up because renders and story both are not to bad but it is what it is

Decided this finally had enough content to look into and I'm extremely unimpressed. The renders look amazing but it feels like all flash and no substance. All the random animations and panning feel unnecessary. For the first time in ever, I don't like any of the LIs, actively dislike several of them actually. Only one I can't say much about is Alice since I haven't had a meaningful interaction yet. I'm honestly surprised at how much I don't like the people in this.

Not just you I don't really like anyone but Alice and Summer. Summer I like but she is on thin fucken ice with me. It's kind of one of those games I just accept the characters for their flaws cause they are hot and have good renders otherwise be hard to play.

That's skipping over the logic jump of "No we can't carry these two strangers with us" which turned into "Sorry, I know you have drugs and my best friend is uncomfortable with you but you seem cool and I should have supported you over her and my friend's objection, so you can grab my tits." She's a walking disaster.

kind of why I say Summer is on thin ice for me , since she did apologize but I was so mad at her my first playthrough I actually almost dropped the game cause there was no 1 I liked but said fuck it the renders and girls are hot . The opening is fresh for me since I literally played it for the first time today. MC had this private livestream thing with whoever the porn star is and warned Alex not to call. Mei, not knowing, takes it upon herself to drop the "we're going to dreamland in four months" announcement as a surprise and Alex calls MC despite MC warning him not to earlier in the day. Not answering causes Alex to call the grandma, hence getting caught. I assume answering the call just skips the lewd scene with Katherine and puts you on the "we're going to dreamland" call. I say all this to say he had planned time with Katherine, he did not have planned time with his friends, and Mei is the reason the domino effect happened.

Yeah, looking back, the lake thing isn't quite as dangerous as I made it sound based on the distance to camp. It still could have had a lot of different outcomes and the only saving grace was AVN logic. They took all his clothes, he was in the lake naked and it was supposedly cold to the point of him sneezing multiple times (though that kid also got in the water, and Alice was on a banana floaty, so I'm kinda suspicious at how cold it actually was).
