I don't think I've run into that problem before, but at least zipping it up would work. And the saves have just...disappeared? what the fuck?

And is this folder also empty (copy this to the file browser's top/address bar)?

Thank you, I think I recovered the saved files, but now I have another problem, you know that before I went from the continuation screen to the start screen, well now on the start screen where it said start it now says continue.

You don't need to copy the save files from the %AppData%... location to the game location. If there are no save files in the game location Renpy will automatically look at the %AppData%... location.

Are you still looping, or what happens if you click continue? It might be you somehow have triggered the panic function and reverted to point before the Anna story line starts, or you have actually gotten the Anna story line started.

I'm still in Loop, only now the screen that said start says continue like the other one. It used to be Start Help Preferences Quit and now it is Continue Help Preferences Quit

His patreon has been quiet since Halloween and he hasn't said a peep here for over a week... then again, it is Christmas Eve, so he's likely just taking a vacation for family stuff. Bit sad we didn't get a Christmas version, but oh well. ...Halloween is superior anyway! If it's just vacation and the dev's alright, I wish you a Merry Christmas, mate.

he has a post on the 13th saying that he still had a lot of writing/programming to do and is hoping to have some something out soon.

I wanted to make a little status update for you guys, so that you won't be getting too impatient too soon. Since the end of the year was grueling at work and the holidays are grueling at home, it looks like I won't get the update ready by the end of the year as I was hoping for. So, it'll be ready in January!

You'll need to progress in the main story and get your club to at least level 3. Then the main story will move forward and unlock those for you.

Hmm, I guess it's possible that something's gone tits up. Could you send me your save and I'll test it out to see if there's an edge case where the story fails to move forward?

I tried using URM to fiddle around with the variables, but it looks like the dev is a master at making this difficult (much respect to them regardless, cuz I get it ). I did a little searching around, and it looks like you have to modify the actual files unpacked by Unren to do it.

So two question: 1.) Has anyone discovered modifiable variables through URM, and if so, would you please share? 2.) If not, I have not been able to discover where to enter the cheat password. I very well could be missing it, but if someone could provide that info as well, that'd be awesome!

You don't really need to cheat in this game anymore. This dev. has listened and cut down on the grind. What's left is basically that you need to go through a story line to progress to next level. It's not like you need to repeat the same action 100 of times to progress. It think the worst grind left is the spy scenes in the toilet, where you need to spy 2-3 times without getting caught before you can progress to the level where it's ok to get caught.
