Is it just me or are there almost no good games lately to get excited for. Games like Summer Heat or Race of Life have like yearly update cycles and many other games are just becoming worse at least to me. What do you guys think?

Honestly, game update intervals are so extremely bad right now. I miss the days when the 2-month update interval was considered long, and that 2-month update had more content than what some of these devs release in a year.
A lot of good devs made their money and left or moved on to bigger better things than just lewd games. And of course a lot of them just chose focused on their life too.
It's because the graphics cards became more expensive since, along with better 3D graphics. It's just more cost-prohibitive to get a rig that can keep churning out content at the same speed as we were used too. It takes at least an hour to render 1 still to ok quality. So a AVN update with 100 new stills will have taken 100 hours just to render. Scripting, coding, scene setting, et cetera comes on top of that.

I don't even know why i still visit this site every day. Or any other porn game site.
Everything is just the cheapest possible garbage, like the daily flood of Koitatsu / Honeyselect games. Which are just the same character editor poses and ingame animations over and over. Realporn HTML was always a plague, now there's also the dreaded "AICG" tag.
The handful of remaining worthwhile games went from update cycles of 1-2 months to 3,4,5 months or even 1-2 years. With less and less content in each update.
Also the game content has completely changed. Where the dominant tags used to be MaleProtag, Incest, Sandbox and such, the vast majority of games is now about FemProtag, Futa, Gay in rigid VN or KN format.
In short, browsing the "Latest Updates" started to feel like i'm in a gayporn shop. Why am i even here?
IIRC this site even has a free render cloud, or at least this was mentioned by some dev.

Games like Big Brother were rendered almost a decade ago on so much worse hardware. Still looks better than 99% of the games we see nowadays.

I made my comments with cloud rendering included in my argumentation. Big Brother's models have much lower resolution textures than current generation unity/unreal/daz models (the original version at least, I don't know about the remake). It is very high quality, especially for its time, but the last post the creator made on their Patreon complained that they can no longer foot the bill of development. Which brings me back to my statement about costs:
Why are the free games I am not supporting and marking snarky comments about to not putting "any effort" says a person unaware of the irony they are perpetuating.....
Maybe instead of being toxic and creating toxicity, you instead be POSITIVE and look for the good in the games instead of focusing on the difficulty of creating top tier graphics... Because it's hard, especially when you can't afford the proper PC like some of the upper tier DAZ users have... You have more options than ever before, that's better than I could say before I got into development...

Yeah you set filters, and then the first page in the game updates already dates back a week.
Or - right now it is "only" 5 days because it is weekend.
Also you can only set 10 filters, and you have to redo them each time you click on the updates.
And this also filters games you should be seeing, but which have like 1 hidden optional scene with unwanted content.
Lots of important stuff has no filters at all, while others have two completely unnecessary ones.
Example "Futa/Trans" and "Futa/Trans Protagonist" are separate tags. Then you also have to filter "gay" and "lesbian".
While just a single "non-hetero" tag would suffice.
And all the explicit anti-sexual content, like "Tentacles", "Netorare" and whatnot.
Please, PLEASE, tell me that this reply is just bait and you are not serious...
You can't possibly be suggesting lumping together a group that doesn't want to see dicks with one that doesn't want to see pussies and actually meaning it, all while not understanding the difference between playing as a chick with a dick and fucking a chick with a dick...
