I dont doubt it won't be solved in a single episode, it could be but it would be severely underwhelming. My point was specifically in regards to wanting more than 16 episodes. Can you see what is left carrying us into a season 5?
A lot. Literally a lot, which is actually insane. We don't know what the fuck is going on with Bella and how much impact that would actually have in the game. We don't know what Burke is actually doing. MC's relationship with girls may have been progressing fast, but that's because DPC rushed them a lot, but those relationships are still really fresh. Lynnete's diary is still bringing a plot twist fort. And so many parties, events and other stuff.

I would even guess that a little time jump would even fit into the start of the next year with classes and whatnots, giving some more time for switches to take effect. And as I said, Spring Break can easily take up 2 whole episodes, even more if we have a time jump. I can imagine the next season having 2 episodes with a little time jump and ending with the end of spring break. But one big problem with the timelines other than Vixen is that now the MC is in actual relationships so he can't keep getting even and sex scenes with all the girls in just one big run and this actually make that the episodes seem shorter because you are focused on just one girl and getting events just for her.

Another big problem is that BaDIK is heavily dependent and focused on characters, but no so much into the story of the game. The story is pretty meh actually, college stuff. And it's really difficult to make a character focused game be very long unless it's reaaaaaaaaaally slow burn, which BaDIK never was. So this can make it difficult for the game to progress further. But we can progress with some creativity.

I didn't quite understand Magnar's statement about MC and Chad not being able to be friends. What did he mean by that?

That he (Magnar) should prevent a friendship between MC and Chad or that he (Magnar) doesn't believe a friendship between MC and Chad can happen? English is not my native language. If someone can help me.
It's because of the DIKs and Alphas relationships, I would guess. Chad and MC can't really buddy up considering how their frats are with each other.

I was literally about to say the only thing Magnar gained intel on during D&G was how much he wanted to bang Sally :KEK:
Well for me not only Sally. Tremolo in my game flirted and fucked everyone possible in D&G :KEK:

And then... We find out nearly every open storythread is connected and finish it all in 1 fell swoop spread over the last 2/3 episodes. That would be a major letdown -_-

I honestly believe that if it wasn't for MC & Derek, the DIKs would've gotten screwed due to Magnar's plans. He had enough to take them down alongside the Alphas because he was already aware of how the two frats operated. But with Derek & MC being new additions are just total separate wild cards in their own ways...Well, it was never going to go well at all.

This might be reaching, but I believe the reason why Magnar wanted MC to play Dungeons & Gremlins with him is so he could determine how MC was thinking. His strategy, tactics, intellect, creativity, etc.
Well in most of my cases this just means he knows that i really like to spank sally :ROFLMAO:

He said that the number of episodes could be different compared to previous seasons. This led some people to believe that we would have +4 regular episodes in SEASON 4 and +2 extra epilogue episodes. While others believe that we will have in SEASON 4: +2 regular episodes and +2 epilogue episodes.
To be fair he never said the episodes could be different compared to previous seasons he said the season itself would be different, basically saying it wont be a traditional one as it includes the endings. He further goes on to say we are looking at 14 - 16 episodes while knowing he needs up to 14 for sure but it gets blurry after that but he's not stopping till the endings are what he needs them to be.

This tells me he could end it at 14, but if its not satisfactory he'll go as much as he needs to.

Still in the same Q&A he did say a previous count was 15 - 17 so there's a possibility its increased again

Sally was definitely the scout for Magnar's activities, that's why she was attending all the parties. Don't know what went south between her and Magnar but she will be the key to finding truth about Magnar.
maybe he just used Sally. now the plan is about to start, no need Sally anymore. and he just left Sally like left the payment for mc's notes.
btw, i dont remember Sally said she isnt with Magnar, only the nerds doesnt share infos with her now.
The paradigm shift has come for everyone except Quinn. She's still the same old Quinn. She hasn't learned anything from Riona's situation. She won't ask for help, that's it.

I fear she's just painted a bigger target on Riona's back by calling the police - who clearly won't be able to arrest Buddy, Vinny and Mick for some reason.
i dont think so.
i mean, if i hurt Quinn with hurting Rio, but she still calls the cops, what effect will have if i hunt down Rio? Quinn wont be loyal because of it, right? so, what is the gain? nothing.
but
vinny with/without buddy going after Quinn is a new strategy. (if buddy not arrested)

Oh, he's definitely going to increase it. Things as they are have been feeling rushed and there's still quite a few plot holes that needed to be addressed. It was originally going to be 3 seasons but now it's four...let's be fair xD

Hopefully we'll find out in EP.12.

We don't know what Burke is actually doing.
This should be the biggest plot point. We should only find out in the final few episodes.

MC's relationship with girls may have been progressing fast, but that's because DPC rushed them a lot, but those relationships are still really fresh.
I agree with you 100%. To be honest, I didn't think any of them would say the 3 special words this season. Even Bella is already considering dropping an L-bomb, which to me is insane.

Lynnete's diary is still bringing a plot twist fort.
I want to meet Grandpa. Will the DPC not give us that pleasure? That's all I ask. I need to see MC or Derek troll grandpa. :KEK:

Jill offers the family lawyer's help during the Halloween party. But for now it is actually she and Bella who advise Maya from that point of view. Now in theory the lawyer is needed for the contract Maya signed with her father for the return of money spent on college. But considering that there has been a reconciliation with patrick I would say that it is no longer needed, except if it is important to find out who this lawyer is.

The problem with the whole loan storyline is that it was supposed to end with the reacquaintance with Patrick', everything in between was a boring waste of time and was counterproductive for the characters, Maya first but not only her
It wasn't counterproductive to Maya's character. The thing about the loan situation is that it was being portrayed as this much bigger thing than it actually was because it was coming from Maya's perspective. Seeing a situation from the outside looking in gives a much different viewpoint then that of when you're the one stuck on the inside. Being the one trapped on the inside always make it seem like the thing is bigger and worse than what it really is, which is where Maya's perspective is coming from. Also Maya doesn't do herself any favours because she deals with everything by not dealing with it and instead internalizes everything that she's going through. Not just the loan being used to manipulate her, but dealing with her mom's chronic illness and the ever increasing strain it has put on her parents marriage, also with how that leads her father to be abusive towards her and Derek. By keeping everything inside she's burdening herself further and adding more to the hopelessness that she feels she is in with the entirety of the situation. While Maya has both Derek and Josy to help give some support to her throughout everything, it's not enough because both of them are stuck in it too to various degrees. It isn't until Maya starts to open up to MC and Sage that things start to get better for her. As more things come out and as Jill and Bella get brought in, Maya is able to unburden herself more and more. It gets to the point that regardless if you get the contracts or not; Maya has this support group around her now that she can turn to and rely on, no longer needing to internalize everything that she's been dealing with.

Yeah the whole thing is long and drawn out, but it isn't counterproductive for Maya's journey and growth.

This is why I am becoming increasingly against releasing unfinished works in chapters and seasons. How many aren’t completed or abandoned? How many stories fall flat (because of high expectations)? Sigh… I’m just as frustrated as everyone else that we have to wait (for who knows how long) for a little closure on at least some of this story. I’m still invested and that’s good for DPC. But, I also am increasingly cautious of starting any other incomplete episodic game. (that’s bad for them, I guess? Maybe me, as I might be missing the start of something great?) I’m losing all my patience as I get older… ;)
I was playing BaDIK on release for the first 4 episodes, as well as dozen of other games just waiting for each new installment. Eventually I just got tired of playing all these unfinished games so I stopped and just focused playing ones that were already complete. And I got to say that it was really great not having to worry or wait for how long until the next update dropped. I kept tabs on some of the games seeing how they were progressing but it wasn't until a few months ago that I started getting back into unfinished games like BaDIK. It was disappointing to see how many of them got abandoned or should have been abandoned because you could tell the devs just gave up and cobbled something together and called it an ending. It has been nice getting back into this game because it hasn't been a disappointment at all and the long wait for episode 12 hasn't hit me hard yet. I've been taking things slow and have a long list of playthroughs I still want to get done.

Not really? That is literally impossible actually, we will need proper epilogues for the MC life after the game with all the choices he made.
