That's the point. She IS a nerd. She is also Magnar's girlfriend.
She is having trouble with anxiety, depressive thoughts and etc and she is taking more and more meds than usual from Quinn and she even used Karen to get better prices.
She is having trouble with her studies which makes her even more annoyed, she is at EVERY party with or without the DIKs, like every single one. Even the one at the campfire one, which don't make sense. Magnar is basically forcing her to scout the parties so he can do his stuff, which will make her grades worse by default and will make her even more annoyed.
To top it off, on a lot of interactions we have with Sally, she ends it with a guilty/troubled face. I don't have the screenshots right now, but she does... at the dorm party, at the campfire. And she even fells guilty for threating the MC bad when he helps her with Nora's class. The guilty from whatever she has done (I even suspect she was the one that posted Cathy's cluck) is eating her on the inside. There's a lot of stuff pillying up, I will probably get screeshots of everything in a next playthrough. But she is close to snapping.

Precisely, they're girls.
Half of the random girls we saw in the background in all those parties were involved and shared the pictures everywhere. How can we trust any female characters now ? I can't even trust the guy who played D&D with me. 
I mean, depends on how it's executed... but it'd make NO SENSE for it to be Maya, Derek, Rusty or Sage anyways...

You can see her as early as Ep2 at the diks party, just enough time to engage in some shady activity perhaps

From the walkthrough v11 in the OP:
(Zoey will tell the MC she loves him, if you declared your love to either Josy or Maya in this version the MC will reject Zoey right away, but she will also be rejected without you being able to choose anything if a Zoey score variable is not at least 8: this variable is the sum of all the positive interactions the MC had with Zoey after she got back and among all of those, 3 are the most important ones, i.e. if you got those 3 wrong even having all of the others right won't get you to the 8 points that are
needed. those 3 are:
- in v0.9 you picked 'I'm not mad' when the MC confronted Zoey
- during the 40th free roam you messaged Zoey: there you needed to propose a hangout with her
- during the 41st free roam you need to have picked 'Don't do it' when she asked the MC if it was cool with him for her to date Jacob if you managed to score those 8 points you get the options)
Some other point that you can get is: Hugging her when you go see her at her house, Ask her to stay in your room after the Halloween party (if you are on the single route) and I think I forgot 1
I think her turning point is precisely the MC helping her without asking anything in return, she's starting to see she's just been hanging around the wrong people I think. We'll see, but my guess is that's where it's going with her.
Yea i found it interesting when i saw that render years ago. The Faustus referenced in there is from Christopher Marlowe, not von Gothe's, could be a hint of what could happen to Jill path if MC desides to keep living an hedonistic life. Or just a render to fuck with us
the background story is getting a bit "darker" but i don't know if DPC will push it futher for any of the characters in the present/future.

no kidding.... Jill is terrible in 9 out of 10 renders, but that time when neither she smiles nor stretches her neck is more than appreciable
