Love the game and the concept. I like superhero settings when taken seriously, so that's a bonus. Also, it's a text-based game, so if you don't like that, then it's probably not for you.
Your character is just an average guy who gains superpowers after a superhero-related accident, superpowers that happen to be of a psychic nature. Since this is a porn game, you can probably tell where this is going, except it might surprise you with its wholesomeness. It's less focused on corruption and twisting people as you'd think from a game like this and more focused on the MC using his powers as some kind of mind surgeon and solving mysteries in the mind/psyche of the people he is interacting with. The MC has other general psychic powers like mind reading and telepathy, but his power's strength is mostly focused around fixing people's problems and then forming psychic bonds/connections with them, which is basically the relationship level meter in this game.
I think the whole diving into people's subconscious and finding out their deeper thoughts and stuff they themselves aren't even aware of is pretty cool. The cast and characters are fun and likable for the most part, although the only one that has an explicit "Girlfriend Route" so far is Blaire, although Nayika is promising. I noticed Blaire is also the only one that has her status in the index changed after you finish her story, while the rest remain "Single." I'm not sure if that's intentional or a minor oversight, but I interpreted that as none of them are considered the MC's actual partners even though they are ostensibly considered in his "harem.". The writing is of good quality, which is important for a text-based game. The sandbox isn't too bad, which can be a worry for these games, although I did end up cheating in money in the later part of the current game, so maybe it is horrible and my brain has been cooked by the horrific amount of Ren'Py sandboxes I've played through over the years; hard to say really. All in all at least it's not a *Shudders* RPGM sandbox game, so that's good enough for me.
Now some minor nitpicks/worries since I don't see the point of making a review without them. I'm not really sold on Kiara, which is tough because she's arguably the most central character right after the MC himself. I just have a hard time getting invested in her and feeling like she cares about pretty much anyone other than herself past the surface level, although I guess she's proven she cares about her mom. Another nitpick is that the world has been depicted as a huge place with many powerful entities and whole other dimensions/worlds, but we really have still yet to see any of it other than the city where the MC lives, so I hope that changes and the setting opens up a bit. My final nitpick is that so far the MC, even 5 years in, is still kind of a wet noodle, and I have a hard time imagining him taking over his local neighborhood, much less taking on his country's premier villains/heroes. So far he seems more like the dude who builds the team and gathers them together rather than someone who is actually any use when things go down, I guess that might change, but if it does, that seems like a LONG way away, perhaps too long.
I hope the dev keeps their passion for the game and the updates keep coming in because I have enjoyed what I've read so far. Thanks for the hard work!
