The art style is reminiscent of the OG NPC game which its what really drew me in.
The gameplay is alright. A lil bit on the grindy side, but it never feels heavy.

You are probably missing an MTool dependency then, I finished the whole game using MTool. I don't even have any issues on 1.33

I don't think so, mtool has always worked for me with almost every game including on wolfrpg. This game with mtool injected "works" too except no matter what i try it crashes when i open the equipment menu ingame(without mtool it works fine), so it's impossible to fully play it. What version of mtool do you have? Or maybe what's your mtool startup settings?

No they arent. Besides, the game works fine without the mtool

I have the "Latest" MTool version, I'm a free user.
My startup settings are "Actively Inject" and "Make Launcher"
My font is unicode smooth.
I don't use any scripts.
My PC locale is in Japanese.
I'm on Windows 10.

Is it possible your AV is corrupting the inject?

Btw here is sugoi 9 translation for Mtool. Well, it's still MTL, but at least it's better than Bing.
Rename format from ".txt" to ".json", then drop it into the game folder, then in mtool select translate -> load translation file

Fun. A lot. I couldn't keep it down. Totally worth the dimes.
Don't be like me, do talk to NPCs. There's a companion locked behind a convo and a couple of tips without which your game will be 1000x harder.
It's also replayable (there's a New Game+) so you could play it like an RPG, the choices aren't that impactful, tho. Meaning: they have no impact on the story, but have an effect on the world.
