Yes it originates from a now old defunct site called 95 Furries. The admin and staff were/are ardent Furry enthusiasts hence the F in the title, the 95 came from the amount of members on that site.

I don't have any information on this, but I think the founder of the site’s name starts with the letter F and they were born in 1995.

i did go back to that shitty website with 50.0 KB download speed to download some games one day i was on 4chan i see them talking about f95 and
