Project:

A rogue-like deck builder where players assume the role of a corrupted entity aiming to conquer a fantasy realm. The game combines dark fantasy themes with strategic deck-building mechanics. The project is in the early development stage, with a game design document complete and some initial prototypes built in Godot.

The major draw is corruption and transformation of enemies which interacts with the deck building mechanics & CG art.

Developer:
I am a first-time independent developer; my professional background is outside of game design. I am a decent programmer and have a strong background in completing large complex projects. I’m currently handling the coding and design work myself.

Patreon: None currently, I will create a page once the game hits some milestones.

Discord: None currently, will be creating one at the same time as Patreon comes online.

Looking for:

2D Artist: To create character sprites, card art, and UI assets with dark fantasy and seductive aesthetic.

Employment Type:

Revenue Share: With potential for paid work. Ideally, I am looking for a 50/50 partner because I believe very strongly that the art direction and quality will greatly influence the success of the project.

Contract-Based Work: If you're a 2D-pixel artist interested in the project but unable to commit to revenue sharing, we'd still love to hear from you. We anticipate needing paid contract work to fill gaps in our production schedule. Please reach out with samples of your work to discuss potential commissioning opportunities.

Work Commitment:
Part-time with flexibility, suited for those looking for consistent but manageable contributions. Before the Patreon launch, there will be no commitment to a development schedule.

Open to both short-term (specific assets) and long-term (full development cycle) involvement.
