hello there. I wanna do myown game but I dont have no skill for the art skill so I decided to use AI for the job but most of them looks a bit corny... you guys know a good AI engine to use ?

I don't know what you call a AI engine.

Easydiffusion can make a model run on your machine. There are other programs like this, I don't remember their names.

For models, take a look at civitai (you may need an account to see nsfw stuff) they host billions of models and lora, many are junk, some should fit to your desires.

Jokes aside it depends if you want to run things locally vs via website. Locally it's called Stable Diffusion.

To generate images, use Automatic111 or ComfyUI, theres a lot of guides out there.
Stick to SD 1.5 for now or SDXL models if you want to get better resolution but more struggle.

You may be able to learn to make passable art before you manage to have a good workflow with AI though.

AI is also a good aid to learn to draw if you wish to mix the two.

If you have a nvidia gpu just download stability matrix, its like steam of AI Models, you can install the UI and all the checkpoints you need within the programm

Can confirm. Literally using it to work on my game right now, as I browse f95 and catch up on threads with new comments...

So much easier than trying to get a working Automatic1111 installation, plus it has a handy "generated images browser" tool, and a finder/installer for extensions and models and LORAs etc.

Never used the built-in "Inference" thing as it doesn't let you use or control the extensions I find useful, like soft-inpaint or the controlnets.
